{"id":218750,"date":"2025-12-06T15:44:11","date_gmt":"2025-12-06T15:44:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ie\/218750\/"},"modified":"2025-12-06T15:44:11","modified_gmt":"2025-12-06T15:44:11","slug":"father-in-court-accused-of-murder-of-son-who-was-hurt-as-a-baby","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ie\/218750\/","title":{"rendered":"Father in court accused of murder of son who was hurt as a baby"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"sc-9a00e533-0 eZyhnA\">A man has appeared in court accused of the murder of his son, who died 14 years after sustaining a severe head injury as a baby.<\/p>\n<p class=\"sc-9a00e533-0 eZyhnA\">Lejunae Wood, 42, of Wuppertal, Germany, appeared at Wimbledon Magistrates&#8217; Court after being arrested at Heathrow Airport and charged with the alleged murder of Leajunne Wood, who died aged 14 in 2021.<\/p>\n<p class=\"sc-9a00e533-0 eZyhnA\">Aged four months old, Leajunne was found to have life-changing injuries following an incident in December 2007 in Hayes, west London, according to the Metropolitan Police.<\/p>\n<p class=\"sc-9a00e533-0 eZyhnA\">At court, Mr Wood spoke to confirm his identity.
