I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!<\/a> contestant Vogue Williams<\/a> said she asked producers not to show a “meltdown” she had during a tough time in the jungle. The Irish TV presenter, who is married to Made In Chelsea’s Spencer Matthews<\/a>, was a latecomer in the camp alongside Tom Read Wilson, star of Celebs Go Dating.<\/p>\n

Following her departure as the third celebrity to exit last month, Vogue reunited with her co-host Joanne McNally on their podcast, My Therapist Ghosted, Me to discuss her jungle experience.<\/p>\n

During the conversation, Joanne said she had received a message from a listener who noticed Vogue was “biting her nails a lot” and asked if she was okay. Responding to the concerns, the 40-year-old explained: “Well, loads of people were like ‘She looks sad’.<\/p>\n

“But the thing about it is, you are filmed all day long and there are so many cameras in the camp. I don’t walk around smiling all day long everyday, but I was generally quite happy in there. I did have one incident because you know I’m just crazy about my sleep.<\/p>\n

“And if I don’t sleep I get anxious and that’s why I worry so much about my sleep,” Vogue revealed, reports Manchester Evening News.<\/a><\/p>\n

“So, I didn’t sleep that night and then we went out and did the trial another night with the cockroaches and then I was like, ‘Right I’m not going to sleep tonight’. And I started having an absolute meltdown just lying there like, ‘Please sleep, please sleep, please sleep’.<\/p>\n

“And I had to go up to the BT, so it’s the [Bushtucker] Telegraph where you do all the chats, I started having a panic attack. I was like [out of breath noises] ‘Please don’t show this because everyone will see how mental I am’. I just couldn’t control it and went into full panic mode.”<\/p>\n

She continued: “They are actually so nice when that happens because they’re like ‘You’re okay, it’s fine don’t worry’ and they are trying to just talk you through it. And then the next day I was like’ ‘I need to talk to Sandra’ who is the psych.<\/p>\n

“Because I was so panicked that night because my anxiety just hit ninety and I was like, ‘I just have to get rid of this’. [I] went and spoke to her and she just completely reset me and for that whole day I was like, ‘I’m totally fine now’.”<\/p>\n

Speaking about arriving as one of the two latecomers, Vogue believes it was “a little bit harder” as the original ten campmates had already formed bonds.<\/p>\n

“Now when I watch some of the footage back I’m like, ‘Oh, they were a bit annoyed that we’d come in’. But there’s always a couple of latecomers and it wasn’t my choice to go in late they kind of chose me,” she added.<\/p>\n

“And I was thrilled at the time because obviously I got more time with the kids and I was delighted. And I still am delighted because it just meant I was away for less time. I think I left on day thirteen and although I was ready to leave. Obviously, I would have stayed longer.”<\/p>\n

Tonight, the final four celebrities; Tom, Shona McGarty, Aitch and Angry Ginge will tackle the show’s most legendary Bushtucker trial, the Celebrity Cyclone.<\/p>\n
