Brought on very early, the Argentinian shored up the scrum excellently, but is now running on fumes. He collapses the scrum, giving Leinster a turnover. Every Leinster carry seems to make ground handily. Murley nearly turns the ball over, but can\u2019t quite hold onto his interception. <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph free \"><b>Leinster 38 Harlequins 21<\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph free \"><b>64 Mins: Try for Leinster! <\/b>Jack Conan gets it over the line. Leinster looked far quicker on the ball that time, adding pace and angled runs. Harry Byrne strikes it through the uprights again.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph free \"><b>Leinster 38 Harlequins 21<\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph free \"><b>63 Mins: <\/b>Leinster back on it again after the restart goes straight into touch, leading to a scrum at halfway. The blue wave steadily reaches into the 22.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph free \"><b>Leinster 31 Harlequins 21<\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph free \"><b>60 Mins: Try for Leinster! <\/b>Maybe the best of the night, and there\u2019s been some good ones! Byrne kicks to the far side for Tommy O\u2019Brien, though it\u2019s way behind the winger. Some great improvisation as he plays a cheeky kick in behind and runs onto it to score. Byrne converts a tough kick.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph free \"><b>Leinster 31 Harlequins 21<\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph free \"><b>59 Mins: <\/b>Two advantages for Leinster, and this time Harlequins go down to 14, with Evans off. And here he is, Reiko Ioane has entered the fray for Gary Ringrose.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph free \"><b>Leinster 24 Harlequins 21<\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph free \"><b>58 Mins: <\/b>Harlequins\u2019 scrum is really getting on top. Lawday and Walker are off from that unit though, and Turner, who is just on gives away a penalty advantage immediately. Harry Byrne, also just on, kicks Leinster into the 22.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph free \"><b>Leinster 24 Harlequins 21<\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph free \"><b>55 Mins: <\/b>Some good carries by Joe McCarthy and Gibson-Park got Leinster well inside the 22, but yet again the Quins forwards frustrate their opponents and turn them over.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph free \"><b>Leinster 24 Harlequins 21<\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph free \"><b>53 Mins: <\/b>A huge kick from inside the Harlequins 22 forces Prendergast to clear it to just outside Leinster\u2019s 22. Some excellent work out of possession gives Leinster a penalty for a croc roll though.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph free \"><b>Leinster 24 Harlequins 21<\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph free \"><b>51 Mins: <\/b>Worst outcome for Leinster, but a fair one. Penalty try and yellow card for O\u2019Brien. Game on!<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph free \"><b>Leinster 24 Harlequins 21<\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph free \"><b>51 Mins: <\/b>Oh dear&#8230; Jimmy O\u2019Brien tries to cut a pass out as Quins get sight of the line, knocking it on. Looks like a clear yellow.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph free \"><b>Leinster 24 Harlequins 14<\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph free \"><b>50 Mins: <\/b>Both teams are coughing the ball up a bit too easily, but it\u2019s also down to the really scrappy, hard-working play out of possession. Evans will have an opportunity to go to the corner now, after Larmour is turned over.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph free \"><b>Leinster 24 Harlequins 14<\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph free \"><b>48 Mins: <\/b>Lawday contradicts me right away, gaining that momentum back for Harlequins with a great turnover.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph free \"><b>Leinster 24 Harlequins 14<\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph free \"><b>47 Mins: <\/b>Paddy McCarthy knocks the ball on in contact, giving Harlequins possession through another scrum. There\u2019s a shift at the scrum now, with Quins getting more of the penalties, with Evans kicking his side up to Leinster territory. A good momentum break as Leinster turn over the lineout.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph free \"><b>Leinster 24 Harlequins 14<\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph free \"><b>45 Mins: <\/b>Good Leinster play goes unrewarded again. O\u2019Brien and Van Der Flier linked up to set Larmour free, but Quins did a good job of slowing the attack and eventually turned it over.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph free \"><b>Leinster 24 Harlequins 14<\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph free \"><b>41 Mins: <\/b>Back underway here. Mangan with a knock-on to start the half.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph free \"><b>Leinster 24 Harlequins 14<\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph free \">A good half for Leinster, who could have added more to the scoreboard with small improvements on the ball. But Harlequins have done well too, especially for a side lacking some key men. <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph free \">Both teams are back out now.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph free \"><b>Half-time: Leinster 24 Harlequins 14<\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph free \"><b>39 Mins: Try for Leinster! <\/b>An overthrow at the lineout, but Frawley is first to it, recovered from that injury, and bundles it over the line. Prendergast nails the conversion this time.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph free \"><b>Leinster 24 Harlequins 14<\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph free \"><b>38 Mins: <\/b>Advantage for Leinster, but their not able to get over the line, so it\u2019s back for the penalty for not rolling away. One last push for the line in this half for Leinster.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph free \"><b>Leinster 17 Harlequins 14<\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph free \"><b>37 Mins: <\/b>Evans clears the lines for Quins, but a bad bounce means it stay in play for Leinster. Frawley seems to have taken a bad knock in that play.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph free \"><b>Leinster 17 Harlequins 14<\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph free \"><b>34 Mins: Try for Harlequins! <\/b>What a set-play! A one-two from Cleeves and Northmore sees the winger get in for another five points, and the conversion is simple.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph free \"><b>Leinster 17 Harlequins 14<\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph free \"><b>33 Mins: <\/b>Ringrose flies off on a run, but a croc roll penalty against Leinster stops that attack. Lineout for Harlequins inside the Leinster half.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph free \"><b>Leinster 17 Harlequins 7<\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph free \"><b>31 Mins: <\/b>Not much luck for Quins&#8230; a marginal knock-on call by the TMO scrubs out that penalty, and Leinster have a scrum instead.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph free \"><b>Leinster 17 Harlequins 7<\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph free \"><b>30 Mins: <\/b>Argentina\u2019s Pedro Delgado is on, boosting the Harlequins scrum as they win a penalty. McCarthy gets a little eager and gives away another penalty, leaving the English side in the corner.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph free \"><b>Leinster 17 Harlequins 7<\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph free \"><b>27 Mins: <\/b>Larmour smashes Anderson after a Gibson-Park kick. Leinster nearly have it back, but it\u2019s knocked on, so it\u2019s a scrum to Harlequins.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph free \"><b>Leinster 17 Harlequins 7<\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph free \"><b>25 Mins: Try for Leinster! <\/b>And a beauty! Prendergast pings a kick across the field to Larmour, who\u2019s all on his own. Prendergast misses the kick. Leinster have been a bit sloppy here and there, but their tenacity is incredible so far. <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph free \"><b>Leinster 17 Harlequins 7<\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph free \"><b>22 Mins: <\/b>TMO check on a head-to-head tackle from Northmore on Larmour. It\u2019s a passive contact, so no yellow, but the penalty leads to another dangerous situation. A crossfield kick from Prendergast leaves O\u2019Brien with a lot to do, and Quins turn it over.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph free \"><b>Leinster 12 Harlequins 7<\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph free \"><b>21 Mins: <\/b>The scrum penalty that led to the Harlequins try would appear to have been an outlier. Leinster get inside the 22 after another penalty at the scrum, but a knock-on sees the opportunity go to waste. <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph free \"><b>Leinster 12 Harlequins 7<\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph free \"><b>18 Mins: <\/b>Sneyman comes off after that try, replaced by Diarmuid Mangan. Apparently it\u2019s a tactical swap.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph free \"><b>Leinster 12 Harlequins 7<\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph free \"><b>17 Mins: Try for Leinster! <\/b>Gary Ringrose gets on the end of that move, with great passes from Gibson-Park and Frawley to set it up. Easy conversion, too. <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph free \"><b>Leinster 12 Harlequins 7<\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph free \"><b>15 Mins: <\/b>Really silly from Harlequins, as Lawday takes his eye off the ball at the restart and knocks on a simple pass. Jimmy O\u2019Brien nearly gets over the line, but its held up. Scrum to Leinster about 10 yards out still.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph free \"><b>Leinster 5 Harlequins 7<\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph free \"><b>11 Mins: <\/b>Interesting choice from Leinster, as they opt for a scrum rather than a lineout when Harlequins knock it on into touch. But, it doesn\u2019t come off so well, as Paddy McCarthy concedes a penalty.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph free \"><b>Try for Harlequins! <\/b>They strike right after that penalty and Northmore puts it down right under the posts.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph free \"><b>Leinster 5 Harlequins 7<\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph free \"><b>8 Mins: <\/b>Another scrum and another Leinster penalty. Prendergast boots it towards halfway, but Larmour knocks it on after a promising start to that move.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph free \"><b>Leinster 5 Harlequins 0<\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph free \"><b>5 Mins: Try for Leinster! <\/b>Jordan Larmour gets it over the line in the corner. Good move by Leinster, working it from one side to the other after that lineout. Prendergast misses a very tough conversion. <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph free \"><b>Leinster 5 Harlequins 0<\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph free \"><b>4 Mins: <\/b>Bit of a messy start, with Gibson-Park knocking it on thanks to an errant boot in his way. Harlequins\u2019 scrum collapses though, and Prendergast opts to kick to the corner rather than have a go at three points from the penalty.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph free \"><b>Leinster 0 Harlequins 0<\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph free \"><b>1 Min: <\/b>Jarrod Evans gets us underway with the kick-off. Quins turn over the ball quickly, but Leinster win a penalty to get the ball back and are into the opposition half quickly.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph free \"><b>Leinster 0 Harlequins 0<\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph free \">Nearly ready to go at the Aviva now, five minutes until the start of Leinster\u2019s Champions Cup campaign. Will this be the start of their first successful campaign since 2018?<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph free \">Ireland\u2019s defeat to South Africa was the focal point for wider criticisms of the game at large.
