Image courtesy Marriott.<\/p>\n<p>The only lodging facility in the Mile Square City has completed an interior renovation that includes nods to the past as W Hoboken has refreshed just about a decade after opening.<\/p>\n<p>Per a <a href=\"https:\/\/hospitalitydesign.com\/news\/hotels-resorts\/w-hoboken-hotel-renovation-new-jersey\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">profile<\/a> in Hospitality Design, the silver property along the waterfront at 225 Frank Sinatra Drive has completed a modernization. The project was spearheaded in collaboration with AvroKO, an award-winning NYC interior design firm.<\/p>\n<p>The property\u2019s iconic Living Room underwent a refresh that included adding a wall of metal mesh tubes that recalls Hoboken\u2019s industrial rail heritage. The red arch over the Living Room\u2019s bar nods to the city\u2019s distinctive curved architecture, while a colorful carpet underfoot evokes the rhythmic flow of the Hudson River.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-93185 size-large\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ie\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/w-hoboken-renovation-1024x625.png\" alt=\"W Hoboken Renovation\" width=\"696\" height=\"425\"  \/>The bar inside the property\u2019s Living Room was overhauled as part of the work. Image courtesy Hospitality Design.<\/p>\n<p>The rooms at the property also received some work, as guest rooms are now illuminated by a sculptural pendant light crafted from amber glass, polished chrome, and white globes inspired by the form and glow of a lighthouse. The bathrooms also sport mirrors that reference tunnels connecting New Jersey and New York.<\/p>\n<p>W Hoboken sports two restaurants on the ground floor, <a href=\"https:\/\/jerseydigs.com\/hoboken-bars-restaurants-coffee-coming-soon\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Halifax<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/jerseydigs.com\/sushi-by-bou-hoboken\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Sushi by Bou<\/a>. The hotel might not be the city\u2019s only one for long, as a long-stalled plan to build a <a href=\"https:\/\/jerseydigs.com\/hoboken-hilton-tax-credit\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Hilton<\/a> just two blocks away at 100 Sinatra Drive looks like it might finally begin construction soon.<\/p>\n<p>&#8212;<\/p>\n<p>Have something to add to this story?
