{"id":220310,"date":"2025-12-07T15:26:10","date_gmt":"2025-12-07T15:26:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ie\/220310\/"},"modified":"2025-12-07T15:26:10","modified_gmt":"2025-12-07T15:26:10","slug":"thousands-left-without-water-after-burst-water-pipe-in-dublin-city","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ie\/220310\/","title":{"rendered":"Thousands left without water after burst water pipe in Dublin City"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Thousands of people<\/strong> have been <strong>left without water<\/strong> due to a <strong>burst<\/strong> water main in <strong>Dublin City<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Uisce \u00c9ireann crews are working to repair the burst pipe in the north inner city and restore water to customers affected.<\/p>\n<p>The burst is impacting customers in Fitzgibbon Street, Frederick Street North, Dorset Street, Gardiner Row, Summerhill, Gardiner Place and surrounding areas in Dublin 1.<\/p>\n<p>Uisce \u00c9ireann\u2019s Keith Conmy has assured customers that every effort is being made to restore a full water supply as quickly as possible.<\/p>\n<p>Mr Conmy highlighted that the problem is down to a \u201csignificant burst and will take some time for repairs to be completed\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>He continued: \u201cIn the meantime, our operations teams are working to redirect supplies to minimise the number of customers impacted.
