This tool should reduce motion sickness when using your <a href=\"https:\/\/www.androidauthority.com\/best-android-phones-568001\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Android phone<\/a> in a moving vehicle. Now, we\u2019ve discovered that Google has renamed the feature ahead of its release.<\/p>\n<p>We conducted a teardown of the latest Google Play Service beta (version 25.49.31 beta) and discovered that Google has renamed Motion Cues. The feature is now named Motion Assist. We\u2019re guessing the company did this to differentiate itself from Apple\u2019s Vehicle Motion Cues feature.<\/p>\n<p>There\u2019s no word on when Motion Assist will come to Pixel phones, but similar options are already available on new phones from several OEMs. Phones like the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.androidauthority.com\/oneplus-15-review-3613994\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">OnePlus 15<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.androidauthority.com\/vivo-x300-pro-review-3609620\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">vivo X300 Pro<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.androidauthority.com\/oppo-find-x9-pro-hands-on-3615032\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">OPPO Find X9 Pro<\/a> all ship with the feature. This displays moving dots on your phone\u2019s screen to help reduce motion sickness in vehicles.<\/p>\n<p>There\u2019s also good news if you frequently use public transport, as we discovered Google is working on a so-called <a href=\"https:\/\/www.androidauthority.com\/android-transiting-mode-rumor-3622955\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Transiting Mode<\/a> for buses and trains. It\u2019s not clear what this mode would do, but code strings suggest that it would make \u201cautomatic settings adjustments\u201d for a \u201csmoother transit experience.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u26a0\ufe0f<\/strong> An <strong>APK teardown<\/strong> helps predict features that may arrive on a service in the future based on work-in-progress code.
