A long-promised footpath on the N69 in Kildimo remains stalled, with frustration growing among residents and representatives as responsibility continues to be \u201cpassed around\u201d between Transport Infrastructure Ireland (TII) and Limerick City and County Council.<\/p>\n

At the November meeting of the Municiple district of Rathkeale and Adare<\/a> , Cllr Adam Teskey said the most recent update from officials was nothing more than \u201ca repetitive, exhausted response\u201d identical to what he had received two years ago, despite written assurances at the time that the necessary safety works would be in place by now.<\/p>\n

\u201cMeanwhile, the residents and patrons of Kildimo are no better off,\u201d he said. \u201cIt is an accident waiting to happen on the N69. This \u2018pass-the-buck\u2019 idea that\u2019s being floated around has to stop. Someone has to take responsibility.\u201d<\/p>\n

He added that despite repeated correspondence and raised concerns at multiple district meetings, there has been no major development, only the same circular responses between agencies.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is a black spot, and nothing has changed,\u201d he warned.<\/p>\n
