Since its founding in 2019, Serica<\/a> has built a loyal following for its elegant take on tool watches. Designed in Paris by J\u00e9r\u00f4me Burgert and Gabriel Vachette (of Les Rhabilleurs<\/a> publication), Serica\u2019s creations blend the discipline of military design with what is best described as distinctly French refinement. The brand\u2019s collection comprises the 5303 Diver series<\/a>, 8315 GMT Traveller, the recently added Parade 1174<\/a>, and the 6190 Field Chronometer<\/a>, all of which share purpose-built functionality, COSC-certified precision, and great proportions that bridge vintage and modern sensibilities.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The newest addition, the Ref. 6190 TXD, marks the long-awaited return of the brand\u2019s Tuxedo dial, a rare two-tone design first seen on a Serica field watch nearly four years ago. Now it reappears in a reimagined configuration, richer, sharper, and more sophisticated. By introducing a subtle third colour into the Tuxedo layout, Serica achieves even greater depth and contrast, reaffirming its commitment to modern classicism.<\/p>\n

The new Serica Ref. 6190 TXD is made from 316L stainless steel and retains the compact, ergonomic dimensions that define the 6190 line<\/a>: 37.7mm in diameter, 10.4mm thick (crystal included), and 46.5mm lug-to-lug. Despite its dressier appearance, the watch with the characterful twisted lugs and sculpted bezel remains as rugged as ever: water-resistant to 200 metres, protected by a double-domed sapphire crystal with internal anti-reflective coating.<\/p>\n

The enamel-like Tuxedo dial, with glossy black and silver-toned sectors accented by a soft third hue, balances legibility with vintage charm. The hand-applied hour markers are filled with Super-LumiNova C3, and the brushed hands add texture and refinement. The look is equal parts field watch and formal companion.<\/p>\n

The watch is powered by the automatic Soprod M100, a chronometer-certified (COSC) calibre operating at 28,800 vibrations\/hour with a 42-hour power reserve. The movement features decorated bridges with C\u00f4tes de Gen\u00e8ve finishing.\u00a0<\/p>\n
