\n\tThe second season of \u00c1lex Pina\u00a0and\u00a0Esther Mart\u00ednez Lobato\u2019s hit Netflix<\/a> series out of Spain will launch May 15 and new pics have dropped. <\/p>\n

\n\tThis next chapter, which has been given a new title, continues the universe of\u00a0Money Heist\u00a0and\u00a0Berlin, and will focus on a new master heist set against the backdrop of Seville. Berlin and Dami\u00e1n bring the gang together to pretend to steal the Lady with an Ermine. But their real target is the Duke of M\u00e1laga and his wife, a couple who think they can blackmail Berlin. What they don\u2019t expect is that their challenge will awaken Berlin\u2019s darkest side \u2014 and his thirst for revenge. <\/p>\n

\n\tMoney Heist is one of Netflix\u2019s most successful non-English-language shows of all time and Berlin has deftly followed in its footsteps. Pina\u00a0and Mart\u00ednez Lobato also just launched Netflix\u2019s Billionaires\u2019 Bunker, a super rich parody that Pina recently told us is an<\/a> \u201camalgamation of soap opera, black comedy, jail drama and thriller.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tPedro Alonso\u00a0(Berlin, Money Heist),\u00a0Michelle Jenner\u00a0(Berlin, Isabel),\u00a0Trist\u00e1n Ulloa\u00a0(Berlin, The Asunta Case),\u00a0Bego\u00f1a Vargas\u00a0(Berlin, Welcome to Eden), Julio Pe\u00f1a Fern\u00e1ndez\u00a0(Berlin, The Captive), and\u00a0Joel S\u00e1nchez\u00a0(Berlin, La favorita 1922) reprise their roles in this new installment. They are joined by\u00a0Inma Cuesta\u00a0(The Mess You Leave Behind) as Candela, a new addition to the gang who will steal Berlin\u2019s heart, as well as\u00a0Jos\u00e9 Luis Garc\u00eda-P\u00e9rez\u00a0(Honor) and\u00a0Marta Nieto\u00a0(Mother) as the Duke and Duchess of M\u00e1laga.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe eight episodes of the series, created by Pina\u00a0(Money Heist, Sky Rojo) and Mart\u00ednez Lobato\u00a0(Money Heist, Sky Rojo), are written by the showrunners themselves along with\u00a0David Barrocal,\u00a0Lorena G. Maldonado,\u00a0Itziar Sanju\u00e1n, Humberto Ortega\u00a0and\u00a0Luis Garrido Julve. The episodes are directed by\u00a0Albert Pint\u00f3\u00a0(Berlin, Nowhere, Money Heist),\u00a0David Barrocal\u00a0(Sky Rojo, Billionaires\u2019 Bunker), and\u00a0Jos\u00e9 Manuel Cravioto\u00a0(Billionaires\u2019 Bunker,\u00a0Diablero). The series was filmed in locations across\u00a0Seville, Madrid, San Sebasti\u00e1n,\u00a0Pe\u00f1\u00edscola, and other Spanish cities.<\/p>\n
