Kelsey Grammer<\/a>‘s costar in the 1996 submarine comedy film Down Periscope<\/a> may have gotten a whiff of a little more than tossed salad and scrambled eggs.<\/p>\n After the Frasier<\/a> actor expressed enthusiastic support for President Donald Trump<\/a> at the State Department Kennedy Center Honors presentation dinner over the weekend, Grammer’s former costar, Lauren Holly<\/a>, took a jab at the entertainer on social media.<\/p>\n In response to a news report about Grammer’s praise for Trump, Holly shared a memory from the set of Down Periscope to her official Threads<\/a> page on Tuesday.<\/p>\n Pictorial Press Ltd \/ Alamy Stock Photo<\/p>\n Lauren Holly and Kelsey Grammer in ‘Down Periscope’<\/p>\n “He farted constantly on the set of Down Periscope,” Holly wrote, drawing replies from several actors.<\/p>\n Actress Kristen Johnston commented on the note, calling it “phenomenal,” while stand-up comedian Judy Gold responded with a simple “thank you.”<\/p>\n Directed by Oscar-winning Sleepless in Seattle screenwriter David S. Ward, Down Periscope received largely negative reviews and underperformed at the box office, grossing only $25 million in North America on a reported $30 million budget.<\/p>\n Entertainment Weekly has reached out to a member of Grammer’s team for a response to Holly’s message.<\/p>\n Holly’s post came after Grammer’s vocal support for President Trump, with the 70-year-old actor telling Fox News<\/a> that he thinks Trump might be one of the best leaders in American history.<\/p>\n “I think he’s extraordinary. He’s one of the greatest presidents we’ve ever had.
