The festive rush is upon us, with many eager to wrap up their Christmas shopping and get the holiday food in.<\/p>\n
While we all need to finish up our shop, most of us like to avoid the huge queues and demand for stock that inevitably comes to supermarkets at this time of year. So extended and overnight hours suit many – and Irish supermarkets have decided to offer them.<\/p>\n
Here’s all the latest Christmas opening hours for supermarkets including Aldi, Lidl, Dunnes, Tesco and SuperValu. While the hours are accurate for most stores, they can vary or change so keep an eye on your local in the lead up to the holidays.<\/p>\n
Dunnes Stores<\/p>\n
Opening hours will vary by store, but Dunnes Stores shuts for Christmas<\/a> Day and St Stephen’s Day.<\/p>\n Extended hours will be taking place in the lead up to Christmas, with closing hours extending to midnight in many stores from December 18.<\/p>\n Some stores will be open for 24 hours on Monday December 22 and Tuesday 23, and closing at 6pm for Christmas Eve.<\/p>\n Make sure to check your local store for their opening hours.<\/p>\n Tesco<\/p>\n Store openings will vary depending on the store and type of Tesco it is.
