Brianna Duffield<\/a> may be heading full steam ahead toward a career unlike what audiences have seen on Below Deck Down Under<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The New Jersey-bred superyacht stewardess revealed as much while sharing a life update in an Aug. 7 Instagram post. In the caption, she listed nearly a dozen of her achievements, including the fact that she “recently got into medical school” \u2014 but there’s a twist.<\/p>\n

“[I] have deferred until I knew I was ready to commit my life to it,” Brianna added.\u00a0<\/p>\n

On a related note, she also revealed that she previously graduated magna cum laude with a health sciences degree.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve made unconventional choices and followed gut feelings over perfect plans \u2014 and I\u2019m still just getting started,”\u00a0Brianna added in the caption of the post, which featured a slow-motion video of herself twirling elegantly in a white dress. “Life isn\u2019t always about having a plan \u2014 sometimes it\u2019s about collecting stories, saying yes before you\u2019re ready, and trusting that you\u2019re exactly where you\u2019re meant to be.\u201d<\/p>\n

What does Brianna from Below Deck Down Under do for a living?<\/p>\n

In the August Instagram post, Brianna said that she “still sometimes” is\u00a0a superyacht stewardess, “exploring the world by sea and living a life most people only see in movies.” She also noted that occasionally takes jobs as part of her high-fashion modeling career.<\/p>\n

“But I don\u2019t depend on it,” Brianna added of modeling. “Getting to turn modeling into a passion has been the happiest I\u2019ve been in the industry.”<\/p>\n

How Brianna Duffield stays in touch with her Below Deck Down Under crewmates<\/p>\n

Brianna, whose on-board romance with Harry Van Vliet<\/a> played out on\u00a0Below Deck Down Under Season 3,\u00a0joined her ex and a handful of their former\u00a0shipmates to ring in Harry\u2019s 25th birthday<\/a>\u00a0earlier this year in Cape Town, South Africa. Nate Salmon<\/a>, Nicolas Cattelan<\/a>, Marina Marcondes de Barros<\/a>, and Adair Werely<\/a> were among those who joined in on the celebrations.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Elsewhere, a couple of months after the Below Deck Down Under Season 3 finale, Brianna posted a series of photos with her fellow cast members on Instagram<\/a>, captioning, \u201cBits & pieces of this past year running into some of my fav peeps all over the world.\u201d<\/p>\n

She was spotted partying it up with Adair, Nate, and Anthony Bird<\/a>, later taking snaps with Johnny Arvanitis<\/a>. A pampering sesh with Lara Rigby<\/a> and sushi nights with Captain Jason Chambers<\/a> also made Bri\u2019s adventures all the worthwhile.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Why\u00a0Brianna Duffield and Harry Van Vliet broke up after\u00a0Below Deck Down Under Season 3<\/p>\n

Although Bri and Harry had a good thing going whilst sailing around the Seychelles, the lead deckhand admitted\u00a0they \u201cbroke up a few months after filming<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n

“Once filming wrapped, we planned to travel as much as we could, and we did!” Harry wrote in an Instagram post in June. “Visiting Africa, the Middle East, the US, Europe, and even SE Asia! We had a blast but inevitably we had to go back to work which meant doing long distance which took a toll on our relationship and led to us breaking up.”<\/p>\n

Despite Bri and Harry\u2019s romance losing steam once back on land, both maintain that their friendship is still strong<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cAfter traveling the world together, Harry and I remain great friends,\u201d Bri told Bravo\u2019s The Daily Dish<\/a>. \u201cWe keep in contact, and he gives me great travel recommendations.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

Harry added, \u201cWe are still friends and in contact to this day.\u201d<\/p>\n
