The next May, <a data-offer-url=\"https:\/\/rebeccaatwood.com\/\" class=\"external-link\" data-event-click=\"{&quot;element&quot;:&quot;ExternalLink&quot;,&quot;outgoingURL&quot;:&quot;https:\/\/rebeccaatwood.com\/&quot;}\" href=\"https:\/\/rebeccaatwood.com\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Atwood<\/a> and her family moved into their current home, a 2,100-square-foot property built in the late 1930s.<\/p>\n<p>The majority of the Atwood contingent\u2014including Rebecca\u2019s parents and older sister, Grace, founder of the lifestyle website <a data-offer-url=\"https:\/\/thestripe.com\/\" class=\"external-link\" data-event-click=\"{&quot;element&quot;:&quot;ExternalLink&quot;,&quot;outgoingURL&quot;:&quot;https:\/\/thestripe.com\/&quot;}\" href=\"https:\/\/thestripe.com\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">The Stripe<\/a>\u2014reside in Charleston. The elder Atwoods moved to the Holy City after selling their family restaurant in Dennis, Massachusetts. The sisters had both completed a six-week trial period in the city during the pandemic before deciding to bid adieu to Brooklyn for good.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI knew our living room was going to be green from the beginning,\u201d Atwood says. \u201cThat was something I could just visually see.\u201d She adds, \u201cI felt like walking in Charleston and the oak trees, you just feel that green.
