{"id":23518,"date":"2025-08-26T04:00:12","date_gmt":"2025-08-26T04:00:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ie\/23518\/"},"modified":"2025-08-26T04:00:12","modified_gmt":"2025-08-26T04:00:12","slug":"woman-aged-in-her-90s-dies-in-co-cork-crash","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ie\/23518\/","title":{"rendered":"Woman aged in her 90s dies in Co Cork crash"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A woman aged in her 90s has died following a crash in Co Cork.<\/p>\n<p>Garda\u00ed are appealing for witnesses following the fatal single-vehicle crash in the Dunkettle-Ballinglanna area of Glanmire on Monday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">The woman, who was the driver of the vehicle, was pronounced dead at the scene following the crash at around 1.50pm.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">The road was closed to facilitate a technical examination by forensic investigators.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">A spokesperson said: \u201cAny road users who may have camera footage \u2013 including dash-cam \u2013 and were travelling in the area between 1.30pm and 2.10pm this afternoon are asked to make this footage available to investigating garda\u00ed.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">\u201cAnyone with information is asked to contact Mayfield Garda Station on 021 4558510 the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda Station.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Investigations into the crash are ongoing.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"A woman aged in her 90s has died following a crash in Co Cork.
