a challenge for which Keane was given marching orders.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">Only a couple of weeks ago Haaland&#8217;s son, Man City forward Erling, referenced the long-standing dispute by joking that he&#8217;d &#8216;need to bring his father&#8217; for an appearance on <a style=\"font-weight: bold;\" class=\"class\" rel=\"nofollow noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=AD5HDekOtYs&amp;list=PLfikCHtGjo4l2AJbpkgkmFOxgIQBc9Pn2&amp;index=1\">Stick to Football <\/a>while talking to <a style=\"font-weight: bold;\" target=\"_self\" href=\"https:\/\/www.dailymail.co.uk\/sport\/gary-lineker\/index.html\" id=\"mol-01cb9160-dc09-11f0-945e-29b0dd5a74fa\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Gary Lineker<\/a> and <a style=\"font-weight: bold;\" target=\"_self\" href=\"https:\/\/www.dailymail.co.uk\/sport\/alan-shearer\/index.html\" id=\"mol-70d9ecd0-dc06-11f0-945e-29b0dd5a74fa\" class=\"class\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Alan Shearer<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">Keane was asked about those comments during this week&#8217;s episode of The Overlap podcast &#8211; Yeah, bring him in. Bring them all in. All his family &#8211; no problem. We&#8217;ll be ready.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">As his co-hosts burst into laughter, Ian Wright added: &#8216;Bring your friends! Bring your dinner!&#8217;<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">Elsewhere on the show, the hosts debated Ruben Amorim&#8217;s treatment of United midfielder Kobbie Mainoo, who has fallen badly out of favour this term.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">The Englishman, who shot to stardom as just an 18-year-old at Old Trafford, is yet to start a single Premier League game after falling behind Bruno Fernandes, Casemiro and sometimes even Manuel Ugarte in the midfield pecking order.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">Keane however urged Mainoo to prove Amorim wrong and earn his place in the eleven by taking his chance off the bench.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">&#8216;Are you telling me that he can&#8217;t sit there for another six months? He might think the manager&#8217;s on his way out in the summer,&#8217; he speculated. &#8216;He&#8217;s 20 years of age, what&#8217;s wrong with sitting and learning your trade? And even if he&#8217;s not getting a chance, we&#8217;ve all had to do it.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">&#8216;Sometimes a manager is on your case and what you have to do is prove them wrong. Jamie (Carragher) made a point that he never felt like a regular at\u00a0<a style=\"font-weight: bold;\" target=\"_self\" href=\"https:\/\/www.dailymail.co.uk\/sport\/liverpool\/index.html\" id=\"mol-f8e7dc10-dc04-11f0-9fb2-f5959885da11\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Liverpool<\/a>, I never felt like that at United.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">&#8216;Every day is your chance to prove yourself to the manager and when the manager is picking his team, (he thinks) &#8216;he has to play&#8217;.
