Preparations for the Spaceward mission are right on track,&#8221; Innospace said Wednesday (Dec. 16) in a <a data-analytics-id=\"inline-link\" href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/innospacecorp\/status\/2000743887187681633\" target=\"_blank\" data-url=\"https:\/\/x.com\/innospacecorp\/status\/2000743887187681633\" referrerpolicy=\"no-referrer-when-downgrade\" data-hl-processed=\"none\" data-mrf-recirculation=\"inline-link\" rel=\"nofollow\">post<\/a> on the social media platform X.<\/p>\n<p><a id=\"elk-seasonal\" class=\"paywall\" aria-hidden=\"true\" data-url=\"\" href=\"\" target=\"_blank\" referrerpolicy=\"no-referrer-when-downgrade\" data-hl-processed=\"none\"\/><\/p>\n<p id=\"6be4e409-a5bd-47b4-a96c-a9e3cf24a174-1\">The 57-foot-tall (17.3 meters) rocket is designed to be able to launch 198 pounds (90 kilograms) into a sun-synchronous orbit from Brazil. The engineers are Korean, and the development is fully indigenous,&#8221; Kim said. &#8220;Korea has built an ecosystem to develop a launch vehicle. We work with more than 100 supply-chain companies in South Korea,&#8221; he added.<\/p>\n<p class=\"newsletter-form__strapline\">Breaking space news, the latest updates on rocket launches, skywatching events and more!<\/p>\n<p>Kim said Innospace is very focused on the global market. &#8220;We already have around 14 contracts with global satellite companies.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>A lot is riding on this first launch.
