\n\tDrake\u2019s<\/a> music cracks pockets of society he probably didn\u2019t think were possible. Indiana math teacher Natalie Kaczmarski, <\/a>or Miss Kacz, went viral on TikTok for her academic-themed cover of Drake\u2019s \u201cNokia.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cWho\u2019s ready for class?\u201d she raps in Drake\u2019s cadence, ad libs included. \u201cIs it geometry, is it honors, is it algebra, is it math lab, is it SRT. Who\u2019s awake to function?\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tShe then goes into how good she is at teaching math and her ban on ChatGPT and using cell phones in class. \u201cYou want some good grades, then lock in some,\u201d she concludes in her cover.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe video has more than 135,000 likes on TikTok and mixed reviews in the comments. \u201cNo but fr deep down we know even tho it\u2019s a bit cringe it takes a teacher that cares enough to try and relate to our interests no im not a teacher in disguise this is coming from,\u201d one person wrote.<\/p>\n

\n\tAnother chimed in coming to her defense: \u201cNah she\u2019s cooking why y\u2019all hating?\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cNokia\u201d landed on Drake and PARTYNEXTDOOR\u2019s<\/a> $ome $exy $ongs 4 U project in February, and went on to reach No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100. <\/a><\/p>\n

\n\tAccording to Complex,<\/a> Miss Kacz has been covering Drake songs since 2019, while performing tracks like \u201cRich Baby Daddy.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tAfter one of her videos went viral, she joined Good Morning America<\/a> in 2024, where she explained the inspiration behind her covers. <\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI just kind of wanted them to think, like OK, she\u2019s this cool quirky lady,\u201d she said. \u201cI absolutely love my job and I think the best way to have an impact on students is to show them that you care, they feel comfortable in your room, and they can relate to you. So if I want to be an effective math teacher, I want them to at first feel comfortable in my room and think that they can relate to me.\u201d<\/p>\n
