{"id":245123,"date":"2025-12-22T00:38:15","date_gmt":"2025-12-22T00:38:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ie\/245123\/"},"modified":"2025-12-22T00:38:15","modified_gmt":"2025-12-22T00:38:15","slug":"pain-relieving-ointment-sold-at-walmart-and-target-recalled","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ie\/245123\/","title":{"rendered":"Pain-relieving ointment sold at Walmart and Target recalled"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>BATON ROUGE &#8211;\u00a0A pain-relieving ointment sold at Walmart and Target was recalled on Thursday, according to the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission.<\/p>\n<p>Mamisan Pain Relieving Topical Ointment, containing lidocaine, was recalled due to the packaging not being child-resistant as required by the Poison Prevention Packaging Act.<\/p>\n<p>The current packaging poses a risk of serious injury or death from poisoning if the ointment is consumed by small children, according to the CPSC.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/dcer237tfveol.cloudfront.net\/img\/wbrz\/images\/news\/2025-12\/ointment_recall_2.png\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\" alt=\"\" style=\"display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;\"\/><\/p>\n<p>The recall is for 3.52-ounce jars with an orange container and a white continuous thread lid.
