\n\tDoja Cat<\/a>,\u00a0Jelly Roll,\u00a0Post Malone, Tate McRae\u00a0and Conan Gray have been added to the lineup of artists performing at the\u00a02025 MTV VMAs,<\/a> hosted by LL Cool J, airing live from New York\u2019s UBS Arena\u00a0on Sunday, Sept. 7 at 8 p.m. ET\/ 5 p.m. PT, for the first time on the CBS Television Network. It will be simulcast on MTV<\/a> and streaming on Paramount+ in the U.S.<\/p>\n

\n\tThey join a lineup that includes previously announced performers Sabrina Carpenter, Ricky Martin (who will receive the VMAs<\/a>\u2019 first-ever Latin Icon Award), Busta Rhymes, J Balvin with DJ Snake, Alex Warren, Sombr and Mariah Carey, who\u00a0will be the 2025 recipient of the Video Vanguard Award.<\/p>\n

\n\tNominations for this year\u2019s\u00a0\u201cVMAs\u201d Social Categories,\u00a0Best Group\u00a0and\u00a0Song of The Summer,\u00a0will be revealed on\u00a0Friday, Aug. 29.<\/p>\n

\n\tConan Gray will make his main stage debut with hit single \u201cVodka Cranberry\u201d from his fourth studio album,\u00a0Wishbone, released earlier this month. The 2020 MTV PUSH artist performed from the \u201cVMAs\u201d Extended Play stage in 2022.<\/p>\n

\n\tDoja Cat returns to the stage for the first-ever televised performance of her new single \u201cJealous Type.\u201d The 2021 \u201cVMAs\u201d host last appeared in 2023, performing a show-stopping medley of hits \u201cAttention,\u201d \u201cPaint the Town Red\u201d and \u201cDemons.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tJelly Roll, who appeared during the 2024 \u201cVMAs\u201d show open with Eminem, will perform and compete for his first-ever Moon Person, nominated in four categories including Best Alternative, Best Country and Best Hip-Hop.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tPost Malone will return for his first performance since 2018 and celebrate 20 career nods, this year\u2019s for Best Collaboration with Blake Shelton for \u201cPour Me A Drink.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tTate McRae will make her first appearance on the \u201cVMAs\u201d main stage and celebrate four first-time nominations including Song of the Year (\u201cSports car\u201d) and Best Pop Artist.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe 2025 show is being produced by Gunpowder & Sky, with Bruce Gillmer, Den of Thieves co-founder Jesse Ignjatovic and Barb Bialkowski as the telecast\u2019s executive producers.
