Sony\u2019s \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/variety.com\/t\/materialists\/\" id=\"auto-tag_materialists\" data-tag=\"materialists\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Materialists<\/a>\u201d followed at No. 3, grossing $749,131 for a running total of $3.5 million.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tRounding out the upper half of the chart, Universal\u2019s animated sequel \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/variety.com\/t\/the-bad-guys-2\/\" id=\"auto-tag_the-bad-guys-2\" data-tag=\"the-bad-guys-2\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">The Bad Guys 2<\/a>\u201d placed fourth with $691,083 for a cumulative $13.8 million, while Disney\u2019s \u201cThe Fantastic Four: First Steps\u201d remained a steady presence at No. 5 with $686,093, bringing its total to $29.7 million.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tThe highest new entry of the weekend was Studiocanal\u2019s \u201cThe Life Of Chuck,\u201d debuting in sixth place on $657,280. Paramount\u2019s reboot of \u201cThe Naked Gun\u201d slipped to No. 7 but added $529,597, moving its total to $8.8 million.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tAt No. 8, Universal\u2019s \u201cJurassic World Rebirth\u201d continues to show stamina in its eighth week, collecting $355,761 for a cumulative $47.2 million. \u201cNobody 2,\u201d also from Universal, was in ninth with $334,849, reaching $1.5 million.
