The series has brought him back into the limelight after more than a decade away from mainstream screen visibility, earning renewed appreciation from viewers for his performance and reminding many of his earlier work.<\/p>\n

Looking back on his career, Bedi spoke with genuine respect about Rakesh Roshan, the filmmaker who cast him in the 2003 science-fiction drama Koi\u2026 Mil Gaya. That role as Raj Saxena became one of his most recognised performances and, by his own account, a turning point he has carried with him through the years. Taking to social media to express his feelings, Bedi thanked Roshan for giving him the opportunity in Koi\u2026 Mil Gaya, describing the film as the project that \u201ckept me alive till today.\u201d<\/p>\n

In his post, he referred to Roshan as a mentor figure whose faith in him early on left a lasting imprint on his career. His caption read, \u201cmy guru my teacher and the most humble and talented person in the industry . Sir , what a pleasure and an honour to meet you today and to have worked with you . It would be anyone\u2019s dream to work with you and I\u2019ve had that dream fulfilled once , would love to do it again.\u201d<\/p>\n

Well, a few years ago, in a conversation with Mukesh Khanna, Bedi had said, \u201cThere couldn\u2019t be a bigger hit than Koi Mil Gaya but I didn\u2019t gain anything from it. I had lots to do in that film but my track with Preity Zinta was chopped off. My biggest disappointment was, when Koi Mil Gaya released, I was completely left out of the promotions so I was very disappointed. Because you have certain expectations as an actor, and you feel bad.\u201d<\/p>\n
