Given that the Galaxy Z Fold 7 already starts at $1,999, it went without saying that the handset would carry a significant premium over Samsung’s top-of-the-line foldable.

Samsung has gradually made the Galaxy Z TriFold available in select markets, but the prices vary significantly between them. Only one country has emerged where the Galaxy Z TriFold price is the lowest among all.

Get one in South Korea if you can

South Korea was the first country where Samsung made the Galaxy Z TriFold available for purchase at a price tag of 3,599,000 KRW, roughly $2,500. Pricing has also been confirmed for China and Taiwan where it’s being sold at the equivalent of $2,600. It’s closer to $2,700 in Singapore.

Samsung started selling the Galaxy Z TriFold in the United Arab Emirates last week, priced higher than every other market. The device is being sold there for the equivalent of $3,200.

The United States is the only other market other than these where the Galaxy Z TriFold will be made available. Samsung hasn’t confirmed pricing for the US at this stage, but it’s likely going to be at the lower end of this range so as to establish competitiveness in the market.

It’s clear that anyone who can get their hands on a unit in South Korea will end up saving a decent chunk of money compared to anywhere else. That’s provided they can buy one, as both the initial release and the subsequent restock have been sold out with no clarity on when additional units will be made available.

The Galaxy Z TriFold was always going to be an expensive device.
