The 17-year-old from Carrick-on-Suir, Co <a href=\"https:\/\/www.irishtimes.com\/tags\/tipperary\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.irishtimes.com\/tags\/tipperary\/\">Tipperary<\/a>, became unwell at the Emerge dance festival in Boucher Playing Fields on Sunday and later died in hospital.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph paywall \">She was one of three people in attendance who were hospitalised, alongside a woman in her 30s who is said to be in a serious but stable condition in hospital.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph paywall \">A teenage boy received treatment in hospital and is expected to make a full recovery, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.irishtimes.com\/tags\/police-service-of-northern-ireland-psni\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.irishtimes.com\/tags\/police-service-of-northern-ireland-psni\/\">Police Service of Northern Ireland<\/a> (PSNI) said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph paywall \">In an online fundraiser, set up to support the Keevan family due to the \u201cunexpected costs they face\u201d, Mia was described as a \u201cbright, fun and much-loved girl who touched the hearts of anyone that knew her\u201d.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph paywall \">Her friend Sarah Roche wrote: \u201cHer laughter and warmth will never be forgotten by those lucky enough to have known her.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph paywall \">On Tuesday, the PSNI said a range of agencies were involved in supporting the \u201csafe delivery\u201d of the festival, \u201cas with all large-scale events\u201d.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph paywall \">It said it made seven arrests at the festival across Saturday and Sunday for disorderly conduct, assault on police and possession of controlled drugs.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph paywall \">\u201cDuring the event it was reported that a 17-year-old girl had become unwell.
