However, the court sergeant said disclosure had been emailed to the defence in early December.<\/p>\n<p class=\"indo-ebe0ecc6_root indo-ebe0ecc6_paragraph indo-300db776_none indo-91174671_primary indo-1d70522a_marginbottom5 indo-1d70522a_margintop0 indo-b48c4984_inherit\" style=\"color:var(--color-primary-80)\">The court was told that the accused was allegedly standing in a queue when another customer purchased items. It is alleged that Mr Carpenter waited for the till to open, jumped over the counter, took \u20ac600 in cash, and fled the scene.<\/p>\n<p class=\"indo-ebe0ecc6_root indo-ebe0ecc6_paragraph indo-300db776_none indo-91174671_primary indo-1d70522a_marginbottom5 indo-1d70522a_margintop0 indo-b48c4984_inherit\" style=\"color:var(--color-primary-80)\">It was further alleged that the owner of the SuperValu chased the accused down the road and restrained him until garda\u00ed arrived.<\/p>\n<p class=\"indo-ebe0ecc6_root indo-ebe0ecc6_paragraph indo-300db776_none indo-91174671_primary indo-1d70522a_marginbottom5 indo-1d70522a_margintop0 indo-b48c4984_inherit\" style=\"color:var(--color-primary-80)\">The court heard that Mr Carpenter was granted bail in relation to these matters but was remanded in custody on unrelated charges.
