It&#8217;s more probable that you weren&#8217;t \u2014 because, I mean, listen, it&#8217;s literally my job to know about gossipmongering of that sort, and I had never heard of it until this very second.<\/p>\n<p>      &#8220;There was a rumor going around last year that I was having an affair with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.buzzfeed.com\/morganmurrell\/marlon-wayans-supporting-trans-child-easy\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Michelle Obama<\/a>,&#8221; Kumail said, mentioning that it was his wife Emily Gordon who first heard the chatter. &#8220;I know, I was so excited.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>      He revealed that a mutual friend had taken Emily aside and said, &#8220;&#8216;Hey, so, I heard that Kumail and Michelle Obama are, like, doing it.&#8217; And she wasn&#8217;t even upset.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>      Of course, you can probably guess what Kumail&#8217;s official reaction to the rumor itself was. &#8220;I&#8217;ve never met Michelle Obama,&#8221; he said.<\/p>\n<p>      Well, there you have it.
