North West has always had an alternative, edgy style, from long nose jewelry to a pierced finger<\/a>. And her latest beauty move is bold, daring, and encrusted with diamonds, drawing mixed reactions online.<\/p>\n

Kim Kardashian and ex Kanye West\u2019s eldest daughter shared new pictures of her custom shark grillz, dripping in diamonds and sharpened to look like the pointy teeth of an ocean\u2019s predator. The 12-year-old bared her teeth for new pictures in front of a Christmas tree, showing off her long pointy nails, with both middle fingers featuring a row of spikes. In other pictures, she showed off her teal-blue hair and posed on her family\u2019s private jet.<\/p>\n

\u201c\ud83d\udca7\u201d she simply captioned the post on her new Instagram<\/a> account.<\/p>\n

The diamonds weren\u2019t the only expensive part of North\u2019s look. According to Page Six<\/a>, North\u2019s new smile was designed by celebrity grill designer Johnny Dang & Co. Her outfit was a Balenciaga Tat hoodie and sweatpants retailing for $1,700 and $1,400, respectively. She also wore rare, limited-edition Chrome Hearts x Rick Owens sneakers, which have been sold out for a while but are on eBay for $22,000.<\/p>\n

The comments drew mixed reactions from fans, with musicians like SZA praising the pre-teen. \u201cIce Angel \ud83e\udd76\ud83e\ude75,\u201d SZA commented. Diplo commented, \u201cdamn she got the riff raffs.\u201d<\/p>\n

Alabama Barker, North\u2019s aunt Kourtney Kardashian\u2019s step-daughter, commented, \u201cAte.\u201d Someone else wrote, \u201cSHES IN HER KING KYLIE ERA \ud83d\ude1d\u201d<\/p>\n

Still others didn\u2019t like that North got a grill at her age. \u201cShe\u2019s only 12\ud83e\udd72,\u201d one person said. Another said, \u201cIt\u2019s horrible, she\u2019s 12 years old omg.\u201d<\/p>\n

Another person wrote, \u201cNot cute!!!! Not cool!!!! Kardashian hasn\u2019t commented on her daughter\u2019s look, but she has defended North\u2019s style choices in the past. In an October appearance on the Call Her Daddy podcast<\/a>, the All\u2019s Fair star said, \u201cI\u2019m like, \u2018Babe, if you want blue hair, it is what it is.\u2019 It makes her so happy. I would never take that creative away from her.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cShe\u2019ll be like, \u2018Mom, I saw this and I don\u2019t really care if someone says they don\u2019t like my blue hair, or my this or that,\u2019\u201d Kardashian continued. \u201cAnd she\u2019s really confident and is like, \u2018I probably wouldn\u2019t be hanging out with those people.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

Parenting requires some tough decisions, and I understand people\u2019s concerns about harming her teeth and not letting her grow up too fast. But Kardashian letting her child express her own style in the way that she wants is coming from a place of love, and we love to see it!<\/p>\n
