Kim Dracula has cancelled two shows after narrowly escaping death when their bus caught fire as they slept.<\/p>\n
The Australian-born musician, who now lives in the US, is currently supporting Ice Nine Kills<\/a> on tour across North America. However, they dropped off two shows after their bus burst into flame on Monday (August 26).<\/p>\n in a post on Instagram, they revealed that the bus caught fire at around 6am while they and their crew were asleep. They were in the back behind a locked door and said they were woken up by their crew \u201cscreaming and banging the door telling me to get off the bus\u201d.<\/p>\n \u201cWe all got off immediately and within 30 seconds the entire bus was engulfed in flames, starting right where I was laying down,\u201d they wrote. They added that they had to cancel two shows after most of the people on the bus lost all their possessions in the fire, including \u201cthings we needed for the show\u201d.<\/p>\n Dracula added that they hoped to rejoin the tour in Madison, Wisconsin from August 27. \u201cI am sorry to any of you who were looking forward to seeing us perform,\u201d they continued. \u201cI was unable to make this post any earlier as I lost my phone in the fire. Everyone in the crew is safe, however, including myself. We look forward to jumping back in soon.\u201d<\/p>\n They also shared videos of the bus on fire, as well as evidence of the damage caused.<\/p>\n Dracula then shared a follow-up message on their Instagram story. \u201cThank you to everyone who has shown us love the last couple of days. We really appreciate it,\u201d they said.<\/p>\n \u201cA lot of you have asked if you can donate money, and whilst I appreciate it, I don\u2019t want to take money from any of you. Your vocal support is more than enough.<\/p>\n \u201cDespite my career flourishing this year, I\u2019ve just gone from almost taking my own life to just barely escaping death, so now I feel like something out there wants me to live. Thus, that is the plan, Jan.<\/p>\n \u201cI will figure this out and we will be back on the road shortly.
