Two helicopters crashed into each other in the air in New Jersey, killing one person and critically injuring another.<\/p>\n
Rescuers responded to a report of an aviation crash around 11.25am local time on Sunday, Hammonton police chief Kevin Friel said.<\/p>\n
Police and fire crews extinguished flames that engulfed one of the aircraft.<\/p>\n
One person was killed and another was transported to a nearby hospital with life-threatening injuries.<\/p>\n
Video from the scene showed a helicopter spinning rapidly to the ground.<\/p>\n
