As Prince Harry and Meghan Markle\u2019s longest-serving staffer prepares to leave \u2014 their entire brand is under threat, multiple sources tell Page Six.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey\u2019ve essentially shuttered Archewell,\u201d a source tells us as news broke Monday that James Holt is stepping down as chief of their charity, Archewell.<\/p>\n

\u201cAfter five incredible years in Los Angeles, it\u2019s time for my family to return to London,\u201d the businessman told People <\/a>in a statement.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen I pass the baton to the team leading Archewell Philanthropies in the coming months, I\u2019ll do so with immense pride and optimism for what lies ahead,\u201d Holt added.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ll miss my colleagues deeply, and I\u2019m grateful to Harry and Meghan for everything they\u2019ve done \u2014 for me, and for the countless people we\u2019ve worked to support.\u201d<\/p>\n

Harry, 41, and Markle, 44, also applauded Holt\u2019s \u201cstellar support\u201d after about ten years of service, telling the outlet, \u201cHis enthusiasm and talent in overseeing our philanthropic endeavours have been extraordinary.\u201d<\/p>\n

A rep for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex added that Holt \u201cwill remain a senior philanthropic advisor for the couple and Archewell Philanthropies, supporting their humanitarian trips overseas in 2026.\u201d<\/p>\n

Now, Page Six can reveal that Holt\u2019s long-time counterpart, Archewell VP Shauna Nep, is not even a full-time employee, but is working on a \u201cconsultant\u201d basis.<\/p>\n

In addition to this, there are just a few employees left on Harry and Markle\u2019s production business \u2014 and they could lose more staffers if Markle\u2019s show, \u201cWith Love, Meghan,\u201d is not brought back for another season<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnyone still there is simply an enabler, enamored with what the couple once was, not who they are today,\u201d claimed one industry source familiar with the Sussexes. \u201cFrom a year ago, they have decreased their staff by at least 80-85 percent.\u201d<\/p>\n

As Page Six previously revealed, the Archewell Foundation, which recently rebranded as Archewell Philanthropies<\/a>, was down to just Holt and Nep<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Sussexes spent the past few months in cost-cutting talks<\/a> for their charity and even discussed selling the foundation.<\/p>\n

Holt\u2019s departure follows that of former Archewell senior staffers<\/a>, Genevieve Roth, Christine Schirmer and Ashley Hansen.<\/p>\n

\u201cEvery time someone leaves Harry and Meghan say they are staying on in some capacity,\u201d said another source, \u201cBut they are never heard from again.<\/p>\n

\u201cShauna hasn\u2019t been a full-time employee in some time,\u201d added the source, \u201cThis is crazy \u2014 they have lost their Foundation in a matter of weeks.\u201d<\/p>\n

On the production side, the Sussexes still have Chanel\u00a0Pysnik as head of unscripted, alongside producer Tracy Ryerson.<\/p>\n

However, the source added, \u201cIf Meghan\u2019s Netflix show isn\u2019t picked up for another season then what happens to their staff?\u201d<\/p>\n

A rep for Harry and Markle did not immediately return Page Six\u2019s request for comment.<\/p>\n

Last week, the duo also lost their publicist<\/a>, Meredith Maines, after less than a year of employment.<\/p>\n

An insider told Page Six that Maines \u201cdid what she needed to do\u201d for the couple by helping launch Meghan\u2019s podcast and TV show.<\/p>\n

Over the summer, Harry and Markle also lost\u00a0their Los Angeles deputy press secretary<\/a>, Kyle Boulia, and their UK press officer, Charlie Gips.<\/p>\n
