Ms Ryan and her husband, John Greenhalgh, shared the happy news on social media.<\/p>\n

In a post on Instagram, Ms Ryan (33) wrote: “Looks like we made it.\u201d<\/p>\n

“We\u2019ve waited for this moment, and finally here we are and, halfway cooked,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

“So much love, gratitude and excitement for what\u2019s to come. Sending love and luck to anyone on a TTC [Trying to Conceive] journey,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n

Earlier this year, Ms Ryan opened up about her fertility journey on her podcast, something she said she had kept to herself for years.<\/p>\n

The daughter of late RT\u00c9 star Gerry Ryan said people had made assumptions about her and had \u201cno idea\u201d about the private battle she had faced behind closed doors.<\/p>\n

\u201cI would absolutely love a baby,\u201d she told her sister and broadcaster Lottie Ryan on their podcast, No One Else Will Listen.<\/p>\n

The make-up artist, who currently lives in New York, says that while she believes there was \u201cno malice\u201d behind the comments people had passed about her not having children with her husband, she does think people are naive.<\/p>\n

She said: \u201cThe amount of people who just think I don’t want a family. They’ve just assumed.<\/p>\n

“It’s just funny because even recently, when I was home \u2013 not somebody in our immediate family but someone on the outskirts of our family \u2013 was like to me, \u2018Does that not give you, you know, the want?\u2019<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd the shock on their face, and I said, \u2018What’s that face?\u2019 And they said: \u2018I thought you were 100pc never gonna do it.\u2019<\/p>\n

\u201cPeople just have no idea. You don’t even know what to say back. I said: \u2018That’s all I want, hopefully one day,\u2019\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

She has decided to speak out because she knows \u201cso many others\u201d are silently going through the same thing.<\/p>\n

“I didn’t see anyone around my age not being able to conceive or like \u2013 even in our family \u2013 you know, mum obviously got pregnant five times in a row,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n
