Dec. 31 (UPI) — A runaway wallaby spotted in the parking lot of a New Jersey Walmart store was safely captured when he made a return trip to the store.<\/p>\n

The Lots of Love Farm said in a Facebook post<\/a> that the wallaby, named Rex, was captured in the Williamstown Walmart parking lot Tuesday night.\n<\/p>\n

“If this just didn’t become the best night ever! With the help of some really cool kids and a really cool dad. We caught Rex at the Walmart!! He is home safe and sound! Thank you everyone you’re all amazing. He must really like Walmart,” the post said.<\/p>\n

The 3-year-old marsupial had escaped Monday<\/a> after being moved to a barn amid high winds. Owner Ron Layden said Rex’s cage inside the barn hadn’t been completely closed.<\/p>\n

Rex was caught on camera by multiple witnesses Monday when he made his initial visit to the Walmart parking lot.<\/p>\n

“I was just picking up milk for my little brother.
