Along with losing weight, the orforglipron patients had an average decline in their A1C glucose level of 1.8%.\u00a0\n<\/p>\n<p id=\"mntl-sc-block_77-0\" class=\"comp mntl-sc-block finance-sc-block-html mntl-sc-block-html\"> The pill uses the same GLP-1 hormone therapy as injectable weight-loss medicines, including Lilly&#8217;s Zepbound and Novo Nordisk&#8217;s (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.investopedia.com\/markets\/quote?tvwidgetsymbol=NVO\" data-component=\"link\" data-source=\"inlineLink\" data-type=\"internalLink\" data-ordinal=\"1\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">NVO<\/a>) Wegovy.
