Check out footage and the setlist below.<\/p>\n<p>The show took place last night (August 26) at the iconic London venue, and came ahead of the release of their 10th studio album \u2018<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nme.com\/news\/music\/listen-to-suedes-personal-and-powerful-new-single-trance-state-3869114\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Antidepressants<\/a>\u2019, which is set to arrive on September 5.<\/p>\n<p>For Suede, the forthcoming release is centred around \u201cthe tensions of modern life, the paranoia, the anxiety, the neurosis. We are all striving for connection in a disconnected world,\u201d and at the live show yesterday, frontman Brett Anderson and co broke out the tracklist in full.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cGood evening, London! We are Suede,\u201d he said at the beginning of the show, \u201cIt\u2019s nice having you nice and close like this. CREDIT: Pete Woodhead<\/p>\n<p>Others completing the tracklist for \u2018Antidepressants\u2019 were \u2018<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nme.com\/news\/music\/listen-to-suedes-personal-and-powerful-new-single-trance-state-3869114\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Trance State<\/a>\u2019, \u2018Criminal Ways\u2019, \u2018Trance State\u2019 and \u2018June Rain\u2019, and before closing with \u2018Life Is Endless, Life Is A Moment\u2019 \u2013 Anderson spoke about another album on the way at some point this decade.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is our second black and white album of the 2020s,\u201d he said, referring to 2022\u2019s \u2018Autofiction\u2019. \u201cThere will be a third black and white album. And then we will go to a different colour! This is the last song on the second album of our black and white period. Up next, on September 12, they will revisit the up-close-and-personal 2018 documentary The Insatiable Ones, at the Centre \u2013 discussing its highs and lows with Miranda Sawyer and director Mike Christie in a live Q&amp;A.<\/p>\n<p>On September 13 and 14, they will play two shows full of classic tracks and new material, alongside Bloodworm and Gazelle Twin, who join as special guests.<\/p>\n<p>On September 17, they will play an intimate, off-mic show in the Purcell Room, before closing things off on September 19 with their first-ever full orchestral headline show. This will be held at the Queen Elizabeth Hall in collaboration with the Paraorchestra.<\/p>\n<p>Last month, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nme.com\/news\/music\/suede-dancing-with-the-europeans-interview-behind-the-scenes-live-3881321\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Suede spoke to NME around the release of their single \u2018Dancing With The Europeans\u2019,<\/a> which arrived with a music video filmed at a secret gig at London\u2019s iconic Bush Hall, and Anderson revealed his approach to commanding the live stage.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPlaying live is all about confidence \u2013 or the illusion of confidence, which is the same thing,\u201d he said. \u201cPeople don\u2019t want to see a stumbling, apologetic performer \u2013 they want to see someone who seems to command a sense of magic. It\u2019s a quasi-religious thing. The lead singer is the high priest and the audience are the acolytes.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThat sounds hierarchical, but you\u2019re all after the same thing. You\u2019re all after the sense of connection: you\u2019re doing something that\u2019s bigger than any individual. I\u2019ve learned to get better at manufacturing that magic,\u201d he added. \u201cThat sounds like a cynical word to use, but you just learn how to do it and engage with the audience, how to tease that energy out.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLittle venues like Bush Hall are absolutely fantastic and I love them. You can really get up close to the audience. I love getting up close to the audience physically. I love touching them, getting that feedback, diving in there.
