R\u00eaver en \u00c9quilibre will feature 300 works, including paintings, drawings, jewelry and sculptures, kinetic and static<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u201cAbove all, art should be fun,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/hypebeast.com\/tags\/alexander-calder\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Alexander Calder<\/a> once said. In the 20th century, Calder changed sculpture game with his enchanting mobiles that introduced a new sense of science and play into the medium. Now, half a century after his passing, his works are being honored in a forthcoming exhibition coming to <a href=\"https:\/\/hypebeast.com\/tags\/fondation-louis-vuitton\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Fondation Louis Vuitton<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>From April 15 through August 16, 2026, the Parisian institution will become home to Calder. R\u00eaver en \u00c9quilibre (Calder. Dreaming in Balance), with 300 works, spanning wire portraits, paintings, drawings, wood sculptures and jewelry alongside \u201cmobiles\u201d and \u201cstabiles\u201d \u2014 kinetic and static sculptures in Calder\u2019s own words.\n<\/p>\n<p>Tracing five decades of creation, highlights on view will include \u201cCirque Calder\u201d (1931), the famed, live miniaturized circus performance that helped boost the Calder\u2019s name within the overseas avant-garde scene.
