A shop loved by customers has announced its closure. The popular \u201cbest ever\u201d brownie shop is now permanently closed after seven years in business.<\/p>\n
The Best Ever Brownie<\/a> Company, run by husband-and-wife team Solance and Craig Poole, had to shut its doors as of Thursday January 1. Owners blamed high costs and heartbreaking health concerns for its closure. This comes after a huge amount of independent businesses have struggled with rising costs.<\/p>\n The business has been running since 2018 and it quickly built a following. During the pandemic, the business<\/a> took off, selling around 100 boxes of brownies to fans.<\/p>\n Following this success, the couple opened a physical store at Swindon Designer Outlet in January 2022. The company also traded at The Barn Caf\u00e9 in Foxham and also ran a caf\u00e9 at Coate Water Country Park.<\/p>\n However, the couple took to social media to share that The Best Ever Brownie Company has now closed with immediate effect.<\/p>\n In a social media post, they wrote: \u201cAs we begin a new year, this isn\u2019t the news we ever hoped to share.<\/p>\n \u201cIt is with very heavy hearts that we share the news that The Best Ever Brownie Company and the Barn Caf\u00e9<\/a> will be closing from today.\u201d<\/p>\n They added: \u201cOver the past year, rising costs and the wider economic climate have made it impossible for us to continue in a sustainable way.\u201d<\/p>\n In the statement, the couple also revealed that the health<\/a> of one of the founders had worsened, reports Birmingham Live<\/a>.<\/p>\n The website for the business also thanks customers for their support, saying: \u201cThe Best Ever Brownie Company is now closed.<\/p>\n \u201cThank you for your custom for the last seven years, we have been so grateful for your custom.\u201d
