Pink is ready for the new year as she sits in the hospital recovering from a procedure. <\/p>\n
\u201cI am leaving behind all of my hurt in 2025,\u201d the \u201cSo What\u201d singer wrote in a poignant Instagram message. \u201cThis year was a doozy for all of us and it ran the spectrum from absolutely devastating to mildly annoying. In amongst all of that, there was so much beauty.\u201d <\/p>\n
\u201cAnd I end the year giving reverence to, paying attention to, and to fixing my body,\u201d she added, accompanied by a photo of herself in a hospital bed wearing a large bandage on her neck. <\/p>\n
\u201cIt may not be a fancy face lift, but I am getting two new shiny discs in my neck,\u201d the 46-year-old explained. \u201cA new scar, a new reminder, that I appreciate this vessel that I have and use it for all it\u2019s worth. Rock \u2018n\u2019 roll is a contact sport. And as I sit here by myself on New Year\u2019s Eve in a hospital room while my family is happily snowboarding- I know that 2026 is going to be better because that is the choice that I have made.\u201d <\/p>\n
Pink ended her Instagram message on a hopeful note, telling followers to \u201cchoose positive thoughts over negative ones.\u201d <\/p>\n
\u201cHappy new year and may you experience more joy than sorrow, more sunshine than rain, more love than hatred,\u201d she added, before referencing the animals of the Asian zodiac<\/a>. \u201cLet\u2019s shed that old snake skin. For that I am so blessed.\u201d <\/p>\n
