{"id":266314,"date":"2026-01-04T05:19:10","date_gmt":"2026-01-04T05:19:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ie\/266314\/"},"modified":"2026-01-04T05:19:10","modified_gmt":"2026-01-04T05:19:10","slug":"hazardous-travel-conditions-due-as-latest-weather-alert-becomes-active","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ie\/266314\/","title":{"rendered":"\u2018Hazardous\u2019 travel conditions due as latest weather alert becomes active"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>A Status Yellow Snow-Ice warning for Donegal has come into effect and road users are advised to expect \u2018hazardous travel conditions\u2019.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Met \u00c9ireann weather alert became active at 6pm and will remain in place until 11am tomorrow.<\/p>\n<p>It comes less than an hour after Donegal County Council issued a \u2018freezing rain alert\u2019, which will also be in effect until 11am on Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>Wintry showers are forecast along with some snow accumulations, sharp or severe frost and ice. Possible impacts will also include poor visibility.
