{"id":266799,"date":"2026-01-04T13:38:12","date_gmt":"2026-01-04T13:38:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ie\/266799\/"},"modified":"2026-01-04T13:38:12","modified_gmt":"2026-01-04T13:38:12","slug":"beautiful-bones-surrendered-to-uspca-for-second-time-armagh-i","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ie\/266799\/","title":{"rendered":"Beautiful \u2018Bones\u2019 surrendered to USPCA for second time \u2013 Armagh I"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<img width=\"1111\" height=\"666\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ie\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/bones.jpg\" class=\"attachment- size- wp-post-image\" alt=\"\" decoding=\"async\" fetchpriority=\"high\"  \/>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n<p>A black cat living with an immunodeficiency condition has found himself starting the New Year searching for yet another new home after being surrendered to a Newry-based animal welfare charity for the second time.<\/p>\n<p>The little cat, known as Bones, is now back under the temporary care of Newry\u2019s USPCA, in what is his third visit to the facility overall.<\/p>\n<p>Expressing their disbelief, a spokesperson for USPCA explained: \u201cThis is Bone\u2019s third visit to the USPCA since he was first admitted into our care back in June.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSadly, this sweet boy has now been surrendered back into our care twice now and we hope we can finally find him his forever home!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The team describe Bones as a \u201csuper chatty and affectionate boy\u201d who loves nothing more than \u201cgetting plenty of fuss\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>They add that he is the \u201cperfect lap cat, as he just loves being with people.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Bones needs an \u201cextra special\u201d indoor-only home due to testing positive for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV).<\/p>\n<p>Explaining the condition, USPCA said: \u201cThis is a viral infection that causes affected cats to have a weaker immune system. He can still live a happy and full life, but these boundaries just ensure he is kept safe.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He could potentially live with another FIV+ cat pending gradual introductions in the home.
