{"id":267160,"date":"2026-01-04T18:36:07","date_gmt":"2026-01-04T18:36:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ie\/267160\/"},"modified":"2026-01-04T18:36:07","modified_gmt":"2026-01-04T18:36:07","slug":"two-men-30s-killed-in-separate-crashes-in-kerry-and-longford","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ie\/267160\/","title":{"rendered":"Two men, 30s, killed in separate crashes in Kerry and Longford"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Two men have died in separate crashes in Kerry and Longford this weekend.<\/p>\n<p>In Kerry, a man in his 30s died following a single-vehicle on Saturday night.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Garda\u00ed and emergency services personnel attended the scene the of the crash, which happened when a car collided with a tree on the L3013 at Knockdooragh in Headford at approximately 11.20pm.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">The driver of the car, a man aged in his 30s, was pronounced dead at the scene.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">The road is currently closed pending an examination by Forensic Collision Investigators. Local diversions have been in place.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Earlier on Saturday evening, a man in his 30s died in a crash involving <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.irishexaminer.com\/news\/arid-41769443.html\">two cars and a van in Co Longford<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">The crash took place on the Longford Town side of the N4 after the Edgeworthstown Roundabout at approximately 7pm.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">The man who died was the driver of one of the cars involved.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Investigating garda\u00ed have issued an appeal for witnesses to both collisions.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Anyone with information on the crashes has been asked to contact the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda station.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Two men have died in separate crashes in Kerry and Longford this weekend.
