{"id":267285,"date":"2026-01-04T20:23:07","date_gmt":"2026-01-04T20:23:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ie\/267285\/"},"modified":"2026-01-04T20:23:07","modified_gmt":"2026-01-04T20:23:07","slug":"national-three-killed-in-separate-road-tragedies","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ie\/267285\/","title":{"rendered":"National: Three killed in separate road tragedies"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Three men have been killed in separate road tragedies in the first weekend of 2026.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A man aged in his 80s was killed in a single-car crash in County Antrim yesterday afternoon.<\/p>\n<p>The incident took place shortly after 2:30pm at Bushmills.<\/p>\n<p>Emergency services attended the scene and rushed the man to hospital, where he subsequently passed away.<\/p>\n<p>The second road victim of this weekend died in a three-vehicle collision near Edgesworthtown in County Longford yesterday evening.<\/p>\n<p>A man aged in his 30s was killed in the crash, with a second injured person taken to hospital for treatment of their injuries.<\/p>\n<p>Finally another man aged in his 30s died in a single-vehicle crash in County Kerry last night.<\/p>\n<p>The collision occurred at approximately 11:20pm at Knockdooragh, Headford.<\/p>\n<p>The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.<\/p>\n<p>National: Three killed in separate road tragedies was last modified:  January 4th, 2026 by Staff Writer<\/p>\n<p>      Tags:<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Three men have been killed in separate road tragedies in the first weekend of 2026.
