But what shocked many was that the veteran superstar\u2019s family held separate prayer meets for him. The first was hosted by Dharam Paaji\u2019s sons Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol on November 27 at Taj Lands End in Mumbai. On the same day, Dharmendra\u2019s wife Hema Malini, who did not attend the Deol\u2019s prayer meet, organised a Gita Paath at her home. Hema and her daughters Esha Deol and Ahana Deol later hosted a separate prayer meet in Delhi on December 11. Well, in a new interview, Hema has now broken her silence on the same.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ie\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/Dharam_1767596071711_1767596084404.jpg\" alt=\"Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol, Esha Deol and Hema Malini at Dharmendra's prayer meets\" title=\"Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol, Esha Deol and Hema Malini at Dharmendra's prayer meets\" width=\"360\" height=\"202\" loading=\"eager\" fetchpriority=\"high\"\/>Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol, Esha Deol and Hema Malini at Dharmendra&#8217;s prayer meets<\/p>\n<p class=\"content  0-0-2\">Last month, Indian novelist and columnist <a class=\"backlink\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.hindustantimes.com\/htcity\/cinema\/hema-malini-spent-45-years-of-her-life-shobhaa-de-claims-hema-was-left-out-by-sunny-bobby-deol-after-dharmendra-death-101766051721283.html\" data-vars-page-type=\"story\" data-vars-link-type=\"Manual\" data-vars-anchor-text=\"Shobhaa De\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Shobhaa De<\/a> had claimed that Hema Malini was left out by Dharmendra\u2019s first family after his demise. Well, in a chat with TOI, Hema has now shared, \u201cYeh humare ghar ka personal mamla hai. We talked to each other. I kept one prayer meet at my home because my group of people are different. Then, I kept one in Delhi because I am in politics, and it was important for me to keep a prayer meeting there for my friends from that field. Mathura is my constituency, and the people there are mad about him. So, I kept a prayer meeting there as well. I am happy with what I did.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"content  0-0-4\">When asked if Dharam Paaji\u2019s Lonavala farmhouse could be turned into a museum for fans, Hema shared, \u201cI think Sunny is planning to do something on those lines. He will definitely do it. Everything is happening in a nice way. So there&#8217;s no need to worry ki yeh do alag families hai, pata nahi kya hoga. Kisiko itni fikr karne ki zaroorat nahi hai. Hum log ekdum achche hai.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"content  0-0-4\">Hema also shared that she is now returning to work, as that would make her husband Dharam ji happy.
