The southbound lane is closed and delays are expected in the area. Witnesses have told Dublin Live the collision, which happened at approximately 12:15pm, involved a pedestrian and a bus.<\/p>\n
A garda<\/a> spokesperson told Dublin Live: “Garda\u00ed and emergency services are currently attending a serious road traffic collision that occurred on O’Connell Street, Dublin<\/a> 1 at approximately 12:15pm this afternoon, Monday, 5th January 2025.<\/p>\n “The southbound lane of O’Connell Street is currently closed and delays are expected if travelling in the area.
