With only a few weeks left in the third quarter, it looks like 2024\u2019s momentum will continue this year. There have already been multiple billion-dollar rounds this year, and a handful of companies have raised more than one mega-round. <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Here are all the U.S. AI companies that have raised $100 million this year:<\/p>\n<p>August<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"wp-block-list-item\">Healthcare and housing automation platform <strong>EliseAI<\/strong> <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.eliseai.com\/blog\/eliseai-raises-250m-series-e\" target=\"_blank\">raised $250 million<\/a> in a Series E round that valued the startup at $2.2 billion. The round, which was announced on August 20, was led by Andreessen Horowitz.<\/li>\n<li class=\"wp-block-list-item\"><strong>Decart<\/strong>, an AI research lab, raised <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/fortune.com\/2025\/08\/07\/exclusive-decart-raises-100-million-at-a-3-1-billion-valuation-chasing-the-future-of-real-time-creative-ai\/\" target=\"_blank\">$100 million<\/a> at a $3.1 billion valuation. The round included Sequoia Capital, Benchmark, and Zeev Ventures, among others, and was announced on August 7.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>July<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"wp-block-list-item\">Generative media platform <strong>Fal<\/strong> raised a <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.fal.ai\/series-c\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">$125 million Series C round<\/a> led by Meritech Capital Partners. The company announced the round, which values Fal at $1.5 billion, on July 31. Salesforce Ventures, Shopify Ventures, Google AI Futures Fund, and others joined the round.<\/li>\n<li class=\"wp-block-list-item\">Five-year-old <strong>Ambience Healthcare<\/strong>, which is building an AI healthcare operating system, raised a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ambiencehealthcare.com\/blog\/ambience-healthcare-announces-243-million-series-c-to-scale-its-ai-platform-for-health-systems\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">$243 million Series C round<\/a> that was led by Oak HC\/FT and Andreessen Horowitz. Kleiner Perkins, OpenAI Startup Fund, Smash Capital, and others also participated in the round.<\/li>\n<li class=\"wp-block-list-item\"><strong>Reka AI<\/strong>, an AI research lab, raised <a href=\"https:\/\/reka.ai\/news\/reka-secures-110-million-to-accelerate-adoption-of-its-multimodal-ai-platforms\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">$110 million<\/a> in a round that included Snowflake and Nvidia. The Series B round was announced on July 22 and values the company at $1 billion.<\/li>\n<li class=\"wp-block-list-item\">AI research lab <strong>Thinking Machines Lab<\/strong> confirmed that it <a href=\"https:\/\/techcrunch.com\/2025\/07\/15\/mira-muratis-thinking-machines-lab-is-worth-12b-in-seed-round\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">raised $2 billion on July 15<\/a>. This sizable seed round was led by Andreessen Horowitz with participation from Nvidia, Accel, and AMD, among others. The round values the company at $12 billion.<\/li>\n<li class=\"wp-block-list-item\">Cambridge, Massachusetts-based <strong>OpenEvidence<\/strong>, which is building an AI-powered search tool for clinicians, raised <a href=\"https:\/\/www.prnewswire.com\/news-releases\/openevidence-the-fastest-growing-application-for-physicians-in-history-announces-210-million-round-at-3-5-billion-valuation-302505806.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">$210 million at a $3.5 billion valuation<\/a>. The Series B round was announced on July 15 and was led by Kleiner Perkins and GV.<\/li>\n<li class=\"wp-block-list-item\"><strong>Harmonic<\/strong>, which is building a mathematical reasoning engine, raised a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.businesswire.com\/news\/home\/20250710118878\/en\/Harmonic-Raises-%24100-Million-Series-B-to-Accelerate-Development-of-Mathematical-Superintelligence\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">$100 million Series B round<\/a> led by Kleiner Perkins. The round was announced on July 10 and values the company at $875 million.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>June<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"wp-block-list-item\">Healthcare AI unicorn <strong>Abridge<\/strong> announced it raised a <a href=\"https:\/\/techcrunch.com\/2025\/06\/24\/in-just-4-months-ai-medical-scribe-abridge-doubles-valuation-to-5-3b\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">$300 million Series E round<\/a> that values the company at $5.3 billion. The round was led by Andreessen Horowitz with Khosla Ventures participating. It was the company\u2019s second round of 2025.<\/li>\n<li class=\"wp-block-list-item\"><strong>Harvey<\/strong>, which builds AI tools for the legal industry, announced it <a href=\"https:\/\/techcrunch.com\/2025\/06\/23\/four-months-after-a-3b-valuation-harvey-ai-grows-to-5b\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">raised its second $300 million round of 2025<\/a> on June 23. This latest Series E round was co-led by Kleiner Perkins and Coatue and brings the company\u2019s valuation to $5 billion.<\/li>\n<li class=\"wp-block-list-item\">Healthcare AI startup <strong>Tennr<\/strong> announced it raised a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.prnewswire.com\/news-releases\/healthcare-referrals-are-where-patients-get-lost-tennr-raises-101m-to-bring-the-visibility-our-system-desperately-needs-302485255.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">$101 million Series C round<\/a> led by IVP with participation from Lightspeed Venture Partners, GV, and Andreessen Horowitz, among others. The round values the company at $605 million.<\/li>\n<li class=\"wp-block-list-item\">Enterprise search startup <strong>Glean <\/strong>continues to rake in cash. The company announced a <a href=\"https:\/\/techcrunch.com\/2025\/06\/10\/enterprise-ai-startup-glean-lands-a-7-2b-valuation\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">$150 million Series F round<\/a> on June 10, led by Wellington Management with participation from Sequoia, Lightspeed Venture Partners, and Kleiner Perkins, among others. Glean is now valued at $7.25 billion.<\/li>\n<li class=\"wp-block-list-item\"><strong>Anysphere<\/strong>, the AI research lab behind AI coding tool Cursor, raised a sizable <a href=\"https:\/\/techcrunch.com\/2025\/06\/05\/cursors-anysphere-nabs-9-9b-valuation-soars-past-500m-arr\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">$900 million Series C round<\/a> that values the company at nearly $10 billion. The round was led by Thrive Capital with participation from Andreessen Horowitz, Accel, and DST Global.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>May<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"wp-block-list-item\">AI data labeling startup <strong>Snorkel AI<\/strong> announced a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.businesswire.com\/news\/home\/20250529083998\/en\/Snorkel-AI-Announces-%24100-Million-Series-D-and-Expanded-Platform-to-Power-Next-Phase-of-AI-with-Expert-Data\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">$100 million Series D round<\/a> on May 29, valuing the company at $1.3 billion. The round was led by Addition with participation from Prosperity7 Ventures, Lightspeed Venture Partners, and Greylock.<\/li>\n<li class=\"wp-block-list-item\"><strong>LMArena<\/strong>, a popular, community-driven benchmarking tool for AI models, raised a <a href=\"https:\/\/techcrunch.com\/2025\/05\/21\/lm-arena-the-organization-behind-popular-ai-leaderboards-lands-100m\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">$100 million seed round<\/a> that valued the startup at $600 million. The round was announced on May 21 and was co-led by Andreessen Horowitz and UC Investments. Lightspeed Venture Partners, Kleiner Perkins, and Felicis also participated, among others.<\/li>\n<li class=\"wp-block-list-item\">Las Vegas-based AI infrastructure company <strong>TensorWave <\/strong>announced a <a href=\"https:\/\/techcrunch.com\/2025\/05\/14\/tensorwave-raises-100m-for-its-amd-powered-ai-cloud\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">$100 million Series A round<\/a> on May 14. The round was co-led by Magnetar Capital and AMD Ventures with participation from Prosperity7 Ventures, Nexus Venture Partners, and Maverick Silicon.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>April<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"wp-block-list-item\"><strong>SandboxAQ<\/strong> closed a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sandboxaq.com\/press\/sandboxaq-closes-450m-series-e-round-with-expanded-investor-base\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">$450 million Series E round<\/a> on April 4 that valued the AI model company at $5.7 billion. The round included Nvidia, Google, and Bridgewater Associates founder Ray Dalio among other investors.<\/li>\n<li class=\"wp-block-list-item\"><strong>Runway<\/strong>, which creates AI models for media production, raised a <a href=\"https:\/\/techcrunch.com\/2025\/04\/03\/runway-best-known-for-its-video-generating-models-raises-308m\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">$308 million Series D round<\/a> that was announced on April 3, valuing the company at $3 billion. It was led by General Atlantic. SoftBank, Nvidia, and Fidelity also participated.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>March<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"wp-block-list-item\">AI behemoth <strong>OpenAI<\/strong> raised a record-breaking <a href=\"https:\/\/techcrunch.com\/2025\/03\/31\/openai-raises-40b-at-300b-post-money-valuation\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">$40 billion funding round<\/a> that valued the startup at $300 billion. This round, which closed on March 31, was led by SoftBank with participation from Thrive Capital, Microsoft, and Coatue, among others.<\/li>\n<li class=\"wp-block-list-item\">On March 25, <strong>Nexthop AI<\/strong>, an AI infrastructure company, announced that it had raised a Series A round led by Lightspeed Venture Partners. The <a href=\"https:\/\/nexthop.ai\/news-and-event\/press-release-company-launch\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">$110 million round<\/a> also included Kleiner Perkins, Battery Ventures, and Emergent Ventures, among others.<\/li>\n<li class=\"wp-block-list-item\">Cambridge Massachusetts-based <strong>Insilico Medicine<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.prnewswire.com\/news-releases\/insilico-medicine-secures-110-million-series-e-financing-to-advance-ai-driven-drug-discovery-innovation-302401040.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">raised $110 million<\/a> for its generative AI-powered drug discovery platform as announced on March 13. This Series E round valued the company at $1 billion and was co-led by Value Partners and Pudong Chuangtou.<\/li>\n<li class=\"wp-block-list-item\">AI infrastructure company <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.celestial.ai\/blog\/celestial-ai-secures-250-million-funding-to-revolutionize-ai-infrastructure-with-its-photonic-fabric\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Celestial AI<\/a><\/strong> raised a <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.celestial.ai\/blog\/celestial-ai-secures-250-million-funding-to-revolutionize-ai-infrastructure-with-its-photonic-fabric\" target=\"_blank\">$250 million Series C round<\/a> that valued the company at $2.5 billion. The March 11 round was led by Fidelity with participation from Tiger Global, BlackRock, and Intel CEO Lip-Bu Tan, among others.<\/li>\n<li class=\"wp-block-list-item\"><strong>Lila Sciences<\/strong> raised a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lila.ai\/news\/the-future-of-discovery\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">$200 million seed round<\/a> as it looks to create a science superintelligence platform. The round was led by Flagship Pioneering. The Cambridge, Massachusetts-based company also received funding from March Capital, General Catalyst, and ARK Venture Fund, among others.<\/li>\n<li class=\"wp-block-list-item\">Brooklyn-based <strong>Reflection.Ai<\/strong>, which looks to build superintelligent autonomous systems, raised a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thesaasnews.com\/news\/reflection-ai-raises-130-million-in-funding#:~:text=Reflection%20AI%2C%20a%20New%20York,raised%20%24130%20million%20in%20funding.&amp;text=This%20funding%20round%20includes%20a,by%20Sequoia%20Capital%20and%20CRV.\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">$130 million Series A round<\/a> that values the 1-year-old company at $580 million. The round was led by Lightspeed Venture Partners and CRV.<\/li>\n<li class=\"wp-block-list-item\">AI coding startup <strong>Turing<\/strong> closed a Series E round on March 7 that valued the startup, which partners with LLM companies, at $2.2 billion. The <a href=\"https:\/\/techcrunch.com\/2025\/03\/06\/turing-a-key-coding-provider-for-openai-and-other-llm-producers-raises-111m-at-a-2-2b-valuation\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">$111 million round<\/a> was led by Khazanah Nasional with participation from WestBridge Capital, Gaingels, and Sozo Ventures, among others.<\/li>\n<li class=\"wp-block-list-item\"><strong>Shield AI<\/strong>, an AI defense tech startup, <a href=\"https:\/\/techcrunch.com\/2025\/03\/06\/shield-ai-raises-240-million-at-a-5-3-billion-valuation-to-commercialize-its-ai-drone-tech\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">raised $240 million<\/a> in a Series F round that closed on March 6. This round was co-led by L3Harris Technologies and Hanwha Aerospace, with participation from Andreessen Horowitz and the US Innovative Technology Fund, among others. The round valued the company at $5.3 billion<\/li>\n<li class=\"wp-block-list-item\">AI research and large language model company <strong>Anthropic<\/strong> raised <a href=\"https:\/\/techcrunch.com\/2025\/03\/03\/anthropic-raises-3-5b-to-fuel-its-ai-ambitions\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">$3.5 billion in a Series E round<\/a> that valued the startup at $61.5 billion. The round was announced on March 3 and was led by Lightspeed with participation from Salesforce Ventures, Menlo Ventures, and General Catalyst, among others.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>February<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"wp-block-list-item\"><strong>Together AI<\/strong>, which creates open source generative AI and AI model development infrastructure, raised a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.together.ai\/blog\/together-ai-announcing-305m-series-b\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">$305 million Series B round<\/a> that valued the company at $3.3 billion. The February 20 round was co-led by Prosperity7 and General Catalyst with participation from Salesforce Ventures, Nvidia, Lux Capital, and others.<\/li>\n<li class=\"wp-block-list-item\">AI infrastructure company <strong>Lambda<\/strong> raised a <a href=\"https:\/\/lambdalabs.com\/blog\/lambda-raises-480m-to-expand-ai-cloud-platform\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">$480 million Series D round<\/a> that was announced on February 19. The round valued the startup at nearly $2.5 billion and was co-led by SGW and Andra Capital. Nvidia, G Squared, ARK Invest, and others also participated.<\/li>\n<li class=\"wp-block-list-item\"><strong>Abridge<\/strong>, an AI platform that transcribes patient-clinician conversations, was valued at $2.75 billion in a Series D round that was announced on February 17. The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.abridge.com\/press-release\/series-d\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">$250 million round<\/a> was co-led by IVP and Elad Gil. Lightspeed, Redpoint, and Spark Capital also participated, among others.<\/li>\n<li class=\"wp-block-list-item\"><strong>Eudia<\/strong>, an AI legal tech company, raised <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eudia.com\/blog\/the-augmented-intelligence-era-unlocking-unlimited-potential-for-the-future-of-legal-work-with-eudia\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">$105 million in a Series A round<\/a> led by General Catalyst. Floodgate, Defy Ventures, and Everywhere Ventures also participated in the round in addition to other VC firms and numerous angel investors. The round closed on February 13.<\/li>\n<li class=\"wp-block-list-item\">AI hardware startup <strong>EnCharge AI<\/strong> raised a <a href=\"https:\/\/techcrunch.com\/2025\/02\/13\/encharge-raises-100m-to-accelerate-ai-using-analog-chips\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">$100 million Series B round<\/a> that also closed on February 13. The round was led by Tiger Global with participation from Scout Ventures, Samsung Ventures, and RTX Ventures, among others. The Santa Clara-based business was founded in 2022.<\/li>\n<li class=\"wp-block-list-item\">AI legal tech company <strong>Harvey<\/strong> raised a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.harvey.ai\/blog\/harvey-raises-series-d\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">$300 million Series D round<\/a> that valued the 3-year-old company at $3 billion. The round was led by Sequoia and announced on February 12. OpenAI Startup Fund, Kleiner Perkins, Elad Gil, and others also participated in the raise.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>January<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"wp-block-list-item\">Synthetic voice startup <strong>ElevenLabs<\/strong> raised a <a href=\"https:\/\/techcrunch.com\/2025\/01\/30\/elevenlabs-raises-180-million-in-series-c-funding-at-3-3-billion-valuation\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">$180 million Series C round<\/a> that valued the company at more than $3 billion. It was announced on January 30. The round was co-led by ICONIQ Growth and Andreessen Horowitz. Sequoia, NEA, Salesforce Ventures, and others also participated in the round.<\/li>\n<li class=\"wp-block-list-item\"><strong>Hippocratic AI<\/strong>, which develops large language models for the healthcare industry, announced a <a href=\"https:\/\/techcrunch.com\/2025\/01\/09\/hippocratic-ai-raises-141m-for-creating-patient-facing-ai-agents\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">$141 million Series B round<\/a> on January 9. This round valued the company at more than $1.6 billion and was led by Kleiner Perkins.
