\n\tNBCUniversal and Peacock<\/a> are busting out next month with a trinity of live sports in the Milan Cortina Winter Olympics<\/a>, Super Bowl LX<\/a> and the NBA<\/a> All-Star Weekend in rapid succession over ten days.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cIt\u2019s the 100th anniversary of NBC this year, so what a way to start off,\u201d said Mike Cavanagh, the co-CEO of NBCUniversal parent Comcast. \u201cOnly NBC can pull this off!\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cGetting ready for the month ahead feels like getting ready for a season ahead. We know we can do it. But you still have butterflies. You still have nerves. This is big time,\u201d he said introducing Legendary February, an annual press event at Rockefeller Center. NBC has hosted back to back Olympics and Super Bowls but layering on the NBA is new. It regained a major package of NBA rights last year in a major push to give streamer Peacock must-have year-round programming. <\/p>\n

\n\tAs the comprehensive\u00a0streaming\u00a0home of the Olympics in the U.S., Peacock\u00a0will present\u00a0thousands of hours of NBC\u00a0Sports\u2019 coverage of the\u00a0Winter Games\u00a0from Feb.\u00a06-22\u00a0through a dedicated Olympics hub tailored to both avid and casual fans and, it says,\u00a0building\u00a0on its mission to deliver innovative, immersive, fan-first experiences.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tThe message was clear from execs who took the stage. The Paris Olympics proved the games are back, including, finally, the winter games, which have not been fully attended in eight years. NBCU announced yesterday that ad inventory has already sold out<\/a> a month before the opening ceremony.<\/p>\n

\n\tSnoop Dogg will be back at the mic this Olympics. Stanley Tucci will join to spotlight Italian culture. At some point during coverage, \u201cThey will meet somewhere on an Italian highway,\u201d said Molly Solomon, Executive Producer & President, NBC Olympics Production. Snoop and Stanley both appeared via video today.<\/p>\n

\n\tMike Tirico will host NBC\u2019s Olympic Primetime Show \u2013\u00a0Primetime in Milan\u00a0\u2013 for the fifth time. Rebecca Lowe will host Olympic daytime for seventh consecutive Olympics; Maria Taylor serves as late night host, and Savannah Guthrie and Terry Gannon will host the Opening Ceremony with three-time Olympic Snowboarding Gold Medalist Shaun White for the Parade of Nations on Feb. 6.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cNothing brings America together like the Super Bowl. No two weeks bring America together like the Olympics. We are blessed to have both,\u201d said Tirico. He\u2019ll be calling Super Bowl XL Feb. 8 and, immediately following the trophy presentation on the field, will turn directly to hosting\u00a0Primetime in Milan.<\/p>\n
