\n\tAs Ella Purnell<\/a> reprises her role as Lucy MacLean in Season 2 of Fallout<\/a>, fans of the video game will be pleased with the character\u2019s killer evolution.<\/p>\n

\n\tWhile speaking with Deadline about this week\u2019s episode \u2018The Demon in the Snow\u2019, now available to stream on Prime Video<\/a>, the actress said her \u201cfavorite part of Season 2\u201d was getting to unleash Lucy\u2019s lethal moves during a drug trip, which compromises her usual resistance to violence and killing.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI couldn\u2019t believe it. I felt so scandalous. Coming from any other character, you\u2019d be like, \u2018Yeah, it\u2019s just Fallout,\u2019 but just something about it being Lucy, it feels scandalous. I couldn\u2019t believe it. It\u2019s like when you\u2019re like little sister goes out and gets a little wild\u2014it\u2019s crazy,\u201d she said. \u201cVery fun to see that side of her, to play that side of her, and also, a new experience for me. I haven\u2019t done that a lot in my career. I didn\u2019t know how it was gonna turn out. It turned out good, thank God, I think.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tLucy\u2019s drug-induced killing spree comes as a result of a life-saving Buffout steroid drip after she nearly died in the previous episode. Under the influence for the first time, the drug trip alters her sense of morals to deadly, comedic proportions. <\/p>\n

\n\tPurnell added, \u201cBut yeah, very fun to play a side of Lucy that is fearless for once. And she\u2019s very tough, she\u2019s very brave, I think much braver than I would be, given the circumstances. But to play a character who truly doesn\u2019t conceive the notion of death for just five minutes of the day, that suddenly there\u2019s no stakes, it changes all the tension in the scene, changes all the tension that drives the character. And I get to play with some comedy in there, it was really fun.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tWith the sophomore of her Sky Atlantic\/Starz series Sweetpea<\/a> also coming up, Purnell discussed the duality of playing the show\u2019s mousey serial killer Rhiannon Lewis after portraying the upbeat peacemonger in Fallout.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cIt\u2019s a weird switch to make actually.
