Kate Gosselin<\/strong><\/a> is addressing rumors that she took the plunge with her boyfriend and former bodyguard, Steve Neild<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The former reality star<\/a>, 50, reacted to speculation that she tied the knot after posting a new TikTok video<\/a> on Wednesday, January 7, rocking some sparkling bling on her left ring finger.<\/p>\n

\u201cMa\u2019am that ring is gorgeous!! \ud83d\udc40\ud83d\udc40,\u201d one commenter wrote. \u201cI noticed that too. \ud83d\ude09,\u201d another chimed in, while a third echoed, \u201cWedding ring perhaps!???\u201d<\/p>\n

A fourth social media user directly asked Gosselin if she and Neild secretly walked down the aisle, writing, \u201cWhooaaaa. Did you get married? I am so happy that you are happy. And how have you kept the weight off over your recovery?\u201d<\/p>\n

The Jon & Kate Plus 8 alum cleared the air with her response, writing, \u201cNo lol that\u2019s just my regular jewelry.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cGo shopping on Waiheke Island with us!,\u201d she captioned her TikTok clip from their outing together in New Zealand. Neild could be heard behind the camera, fueling the theories that the couple had potentially taken a big step in their relationship.<\/p>\n

In the video, Gosselin said that Neild sweetly \u201ctreated me to a few items\u201d before they headed to the beach.<\/p>\n

\u201cBut he also got a T-shirt and a pair of shorts,\u201d she highlighted. \u201cIt\u2019s really rare that he buys himself any clothing, so I\u2019m really happy and proud of him.\u201d<\/p>\n

While addressing the marriage rumors, Gosselin also shared an update about how she is doing. The TLC alum was hospitalized last fall with a tibial plateau fracture<\/a> due to her dog Meika colliding into her leg at \u201cfull speed\u201d during a game of fetch.<\/p>\n

\u201cI gained 15 pounds but hope now that I\u2019m moving around it\u2019ll go \ud83d\ude29,\u201d she shared of her progress. Kate was given the go-ahead to start walking again<\/a> in December 2025.<\/p>\n

Gosselin previously explained what happened leading up to the freak accident in September 2025.<\/p>\n

\u201cYesterday was a normal day\u2026 [Steve and I] decided to take the dogs for a walk,\u201d she began. \u201cSo we went to a little area where you can play in our neighborhood and we\u2019re playing ball.\u201d<\/p>\n

Things went haywire when Neild threw the ball and Meika came running for it, Gosselin said, adding, \u201cShe was running at the absolute speed of light and I stepped the wrong way.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kate went Instagram official with Steve \u2014 who was a bodyguard for the Gosselin family from 2008 to 2014 \u2014 in November 2025. That month also marked the wedding of her ex-husband, Jon Gosselin<\/strong>, and his new wife, Stephanie Lebo<\/strong>. (Kate and Jon share eight kids<\/a>: twins Mady and Cara, both 25, and 21-year-old sextuplets Alexis, Hannah, Aaden, Collin, Leah, and Joel.)<\/p>\n

In September 2025, Jon and Collin fueled speculation that Kate cheated on Jon years ago with her now-boyfriend. \u201cGuess who really ruined the marriage,\u201d Jon wrote at the time.<\/p>\n

However, Kate addressed the rumors back in 2009 and vehemently denied the claims she was unfaithful. The exes were married from 1999 to 2009.<\/p>\n
