Start checking your prize bonds – one lucky Rebel has just won \u20ac50k as part of the almost 9,000 prizes handed out during this week’s draw.<\/strong><\/p>\n The bond was purchased in Co. Cork<\/a> in 2021, and has the number AXL763741<\/strong>. But keep in mind that even if you didn’t get the big prize, you still may have won a lovely cash boost. There were over 8,761 prizes awarded in this week\u2019s Prize Bond Draw – totalling more than \u20ac734,000 – which includes 20 sums of \u20ac1,000 and another 20 of \u20ac500.<\/p>\n The StateSavings.ie website shows that over 1000 prizes were won in Co. Cork<\/a> in the latest draw, which includes three winners of \u20ac1k. You can check out all winners – as well as the attached prize bond numbers – here<\/a>. Prize Bonds are an Irish State Savings product which, instead of paying interest, offers bondholders the chance to get cash prizes. Anyone who wins money through a prize bond can do the following with their prize:<\/p>\n Prize Bonds notify all prize winners by post or online. Where bank details are not provided, the prize payment option will default to automatic reinvestment into more Prize Bonds. This is the second big prize bond win in Cork in recent weeks, after another Rebel scooped \u20ac50k in December.<\/a> Prize Bonds are held indefinitely and are included in every draw until they are repaid – but keep in mind it doesn’t always take years to scoop a big win with a savings bond. In April last year, another lucky Rebel managed to claim the \u20ac50,000 jackpot just weeks after purchasing their bond<\/a> – talk about a return on investment.<\/p>\n Founded in 1957, the Prize Bonds draw is Ireland\u2019s longest-running prize draw. Bonds are entered to win cash prizes every week. Prize Bonds are \u20ac6.25 with a minimum purchase of four – a total cost of \u20ac25 – available online or at your local Post Office.<\/p>\n\n
