Springfield, 16 Amana Estate, Ballina, Co. Mayo and Tone Street, Ballina \u2013 after a short illness at Mayo University Hospital surrounded by his family.<\/p>\n

PJ, predeceased by his adored wife Jean, his parents Paddy and Kitty Walkin and his brothers Tony and John and the deceased Gilmartin family, Sligo.<\/p>\n

PJ, beloved father of Alan, Garrett, and Sin\u00e9ad.<\/p>\n

He will be sadly missed by his sons, daughters, his adored grandchildren Conor, James Sean Jean, Evan and Molly, his partner Kathleen, daughter-in-law Jacqui, son-in-law Aidan, Alan\u2019s partner Naz, his sister Maura Gannon, brothers, Gerry, Eamon, S\u00e9amus, and Vincent, nieces, nephews, in-laws, and his wide circle of friends.<\/p>\n

May PJ Rest in Peace.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Reposing at McGowan\u2019s Funeral Home, Ballina\u00a0(Eircode F26 V274) on Monday, 12th of January from 5:00pm until 6:30pm.<\/p>\n

Funeral will arrive to St. Muredach\u2019s Cathedral, Ballina for Requiem Mass on Tuesday morning, 13th of January at 11:30am, followed by burial in Leigue cemetery, Ballina.<\/p>\n

PJ\u2019s funeral mass will be live streamed on\u00a0www.ballinaparish.org<\/a>.<\/p>\n
