{"id":279992,"date":"2026-01-11T23:01:09","date_gmt":"2026-01-11T23:01:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ie\/279992\/"},"modified":"2026-01-11T23:01:09","modified_gmt":"2026-01-11T23:01:09","slug":"limerick-man-to-face-trial-following-e1-million-crime-spree-across-three-counties","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ie\/279992\/","title":{"rendered":"Limerick man to face trial following \u20ac1 million crime spree across three counties"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A LIMERICK man is to face trial before the circuit court in Ennis arising from an alleged crime spree across Limerick, Clare and Galway.<\/p>\n<p>At <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.limerickleader.ie\/section\/463\/crime-court\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Ennis District Court<\/a><\/strong>, Judge Alec Gabbett was told a book of evidence has been completed in the case of\u00a0Tyreke\u00a0Casey-Curtin who has an address at Caisle\u00e1n na hAbhann,\u00a0Castletroy in the city.<\/p>\n<p>During the procedural hearing, Garda Emmet Roche gave evidence of serving the three-volume book of evidence on solicitor Tara Godfrey,\u00a0who represents the 25-year-old defendant.<\/p>\n<p>Sergeant John Burke said three charges were being withdrawn by the State but that Mr Casey-Curtin is to be prosecuted on indictment for a total of 31 charges.<\/p>\n<p><strong>READ ALSO:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.limerickleader.ie\/news\/motoring-news\/1981959\/almost-all-land-for-park-and-rides-across-limerick-are-locked-in.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Almost all land for park-and-rides across Limerick are locked in<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The charges include handling stolen property,\u00a0criminal damage and seven of burglary relating to\u00a0different locations.
