Although she isn\u2019t exactly roughing it, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills<\/a> mom revealed that the last several days have been fairly uncomfortable, as she and her family are dealing with a broken air conditioner. Kyle shared the update in her August 26 Amazon Live<\/a> stream, suggesting she had no idea when the issue would be resolved.<\/p>\n

\u201cSide note: The air conditioning on the ground floor of my house here is not working,\u201d she told viewers. \u201cThe [repair] guys come out three days in a row; there\u2019s, like, a part they have to get. So, I\u2019m dying, basically, sitting here.\u201d<\/p>\n

But the home issues didn\u2019t end there. Kyle also confirmed that there was no running hot water in her Encino house<\/a>; however, it\u2019s unclear if the water issue was related to the faulty AC.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019ve had no hot water in the house for also three days,\u201d she explained. \u201cSo, I go to shower in the guest house.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kyle Richards says her recent home issues have been “interesting”<\/p>\n

Kyle likened the situation to Little House on the Prairie, the historical TV series set in the 19th century. The former child actor first appeared on the show in 1975<\/a>, taking on the recurring role of Alicia Sanderson Edwards.<\/p>\n

\u201cEvery time I feel like I\u2019m in the Little House on the Prairie, where they go to the outhouse,\u201d Kyle joked. \u201cI have to get all my things and carry it, and walk outside.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s a really nice guest house,\u201d she continued with a laugh. \u201cIt just feels weird having to leave my house to walk outside to go to the shower. But that\u2019s what we\u2019ve been doing for three days. So between the no air conditioning and the no hot water, it\u2019s\u2026 I don\u2019t know. It\u2019s interesting.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kyle and her estranged husband, Mauricio Umansky<\/a>, purchased the Encino property in 2017, nearly six years before they announced their separation. Mauricio has since moved out of the family home and relocated to a luxury condo in West Hollywood<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Kyle still resides at the house with her two youngest daughters<\/a> \u2014 25-year-old Sophia Umansky<\/a> and 17-year-old Portia Umansky<\/a> \u2014 and their dogs. Although she\u2019s getting closer and closer to becoming an empty-nester, Kyle said she has no immediate plans to leave the estate.<\/p>\n

\u201cAs of now, I\u2019m staying in this home, because this house is kind of irreplaceable,\u201d she said during an August 2024 Amazon Live<\/a> stream. \u201cAnd I have a lot of dogs<\/a>. I don\u2019t even know where I could go with this many dogs, honestly.\u201d<\/p>\n
